  1. Do i also need to add a cd reader? to insert my os?
  2. @lee32uk I do have a 4k monitor but for software, idk the difference between pro and home windows. I just thought pro would work well with the tasks that I would be doing video edtiing, photoshop, gaming, and VR. Also for SSD, i think getting a 960 EVO PRO 1T($400+) would be more expensive than the one 850 1T SSD($300). I'm already pushing past $2000 without the price of the graphics card. However, should i just get a 960 EVO PRO 500GB($250) and 850 1T SSD($300)?
  3. @Zmax thanks! the X470 would be the motherboard? Why should i wait for it? Sorry, I'm new to all this.
  4. thanks, @CapitalistVN for the fast response. I'm curious why 2x 16GB would be too much?
  5. Hello, Linus community, This is my first time building a gaming computer and I would like your opinions on the components that I have. I would like my gaming computer to support VR gaming in the highest quality and play AAA games without any problems (above 60+ fps). I'm also planning to use my computer to edit photos with Photoshop and using video editing software. Also, IDK if my rig can support overclocking without overheating with the CPU cooler that I have selected. EDITED: Took your guys feedback, here are the updated components.
