Windows Bluescreens For Unknown Reasons
Fatty Patty replied to Fatty Patty's topic in Troubleshooting
When I reinstalled Windows the only drivers I installed were the Nvidia ones. I’ll try to install all the motherboard chipset drivers and such instead of letting Windows do it. -
So my friend had some over heating issues with his PC and told me if I fixed it I could buy it. I swapped the stock cooler on it for a hyper 212 eco. The crashes stopped and it was working good. I decided to plug my HDD in that has my games on it to test it. Once again, working good! But then it started to blue screen. I thought that maybe windows corrupted from countless shutdowns of him not knowing it was over heating in the first place. I reinstalled windows and once again it was up and running! I plugged my drive back in and was able to play games again. After about 2 days it started to blue screen again! I get error like “SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.” I’m nervous it’s hardware issues and I don’t want to buy it if that’s the case. Any help is greatly appreciate! I also want to point out that before my issues started I defragmented the boot drive that is an old seagate barracuda from 2013. It was 18% fragmented and required 36 passes to fix it. After I reinstalled windows I checked again and it was already fragmented 2% again. So is it possible a failing drive? I’m also getting this PC cheap, $200 cheap. If I buy it I plan on buying a new power supply for it as the current one sounds like a turbo jet. I plan to build a new PC in the summer but my current PC is out for the count. If I wasn’t building a new one soon I wouldn’t worry about the psu, but since I can use it in my new to come build it seems like a no brainer. The specs are: CPU- AMD FX-8350 GPU- ASUS STRIX GTX 970 Motherboard- ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 PSU- Cooler Master RS-600-PCAR-E3 600W

Only $200 so I’m getting it for a deal if all works!

Yeah, it says some stuff about licenses and such. It also says how it is a console app for gcode, but I've seen countless people with it and it has a GUI. README.md

Hi. Kyle here. I am trying to install Cura 15.04.2 and am not having any luck. I went to the GitHub page with the old versions and found this. https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/releases/tag/15.04.2 I downloaded and extracted the .zip file on my Windows 10 PC but I cannot find any way to run it. Is this the wrong thing? Or am I just not seeing it. Please help. Thanks, Kyle.

So I decided I'm going to wipe my PC and start over due to sluggishness from unneeded programs and such. But I figured while I was at it I'd pop an SSD in it since I'm just running off a HDD right now. I have windows on my USB ready to go and everything and how to reinstall it, but I wasn't sure how to wipe the old drive since when I reinstall windows it won't wipe that drive. Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

CPU won’t boost to full clock under load

What should I use to monitor while in game? -
So I've had dual monitors for a while(both in landscape orientation), but decided I wanted to put one in portrait mode. Since I switched to portrait mode I've really started to notice the bezels and wondered if there was a way/software for wallpaper bezel correction. Thanks in advance!

Have apps use two different WiFi networks at the same time?
Fatty Patty posted a topic in Networking
I have limited a WiFi I use for gaming that only has 10gb of data. I also have an unlimited one for everyday use. I want to use one for playing online games, and the other to listen to Spotify. I have two network adapters. How can I do this? Thanks in advance. Sorry if any typos! -
Thanks to everyone that help I think I figured it out! This is definitely the best forum site I've found! Best, quickest, and most reliable source out there!

Would I just use a program like MagicISO to create an ISO image, and then put it on the USB? Then run it in VIrtual CloneDrive?
