  1. not sure man im stumped and im pretty much at the end of my knowledge to help lol but try watching this video
  2. well you said you had already used ddu so i would say you don't really have to but you can if you want but look at the edit i did on that
  3. Well the only thing that really jumps out at me is your graphics drivers are out of date but ill keep looking download 497.21 and do a clean install. Also you can see near the top of the first SS that its doing 2.5GT/S instead of being anywhere near its capable 8.0 idk if that could mean its throttling or not
  4. hmm interesting but i will say for some reason 7 days to die is hard on a gpu my 1070ti doesnt usually go over 63C with my fan curve and while playing it in the past ive seen gpu temps up to 76 with the side panel off for that game but i never crashed just had stuttering issues and i do have an OC applied to my gpu. anyways last idea i have for possibly finding the potential issue run hardwareinfo64 in the background as it logs all errors during its runtime it could help you find a root cause
  5. Also just out of curiosity you said you didn't previously own the cpu or gpu do you know the person who gave/sold it to you? If so you should definitely to see if the card was ever used to mine crypto because if it was theres a good chance that after all that energy and heat that went through the card that its stability is shot
  6. honestly if its not passing stability without even having an OC applied try to make a simple OC profile or even underclock it and see if you have the same issue. BUT seperately i would test the thermal situation try putting fans at max and play and see if it has the same issue if so increase your fan speeds on your curve
  7. very interesting! My monitor will sometimes take a segment from the middle of my screen and display it beside the left bezel instead but a simple power cycle on my monitor fixes it! Maybe try a different cable (if DP try another DP cable) or even switch to hdmi and see if that fixes it. Could even be a certain port your plugged into on monitor or gpu side. stuff like this is always really weird but if none of those fix it id look into warranty options
  8. Before declaring that gpu dead try this: (start video at 9:10) hopefully after clearing all your old drivers and install the new it will come back to life
  9. Well this is definitely not what i was expecting of a RAM problem unfortunately i haven't ever ran into anything like that good luck dude!
  10. Exactly what i was about to say when i upgraded this past year i had to change my new MB into AHCI to get into windows i almost shit when it told me it couldnt find any OS media the first time LMFAO
  11. Overclocking is a great way to get your bang for your buck! For example back when i built my pc i was a kid in highschool making $7.25 an hour. Due to my lack of funds i saved for months and bought a i5-6600k and a 1070t. I ran some games in 1440p checking my frames and i was getting a good experience keeping at or above 60. After the initial tests i overclocked my i5 to 4.5ghz and got my 1070ti to just about a 1080's performance. With those OC's i was able to get a solid 90-100 fps in AAA titles at the time and for my fps games ofc i tweaked my settings to maximize on my 144hz refresh rate. But i saved money and got the performance i wanted in the end. My 1070ti is still with me and shredding frames to this day 4 years on an OC. But i just wanna tell ya overclocking won't hurt your system unless you do something really dumb and 9 times out of 10 if you do something really dumb the computer catches it and you can just clear cmos but the other 1% of the time you might kill something OC at your own risk and do your research!
  12. Any word on how the replacement went?? I'm getting ready to replace my paste and pads on mine/ Also to note my temps haven't gone up too much either maybe 5 degrees or so but it has been my gaming gpu now for almost 4 years
  13. You'll be able to play on most maps just remember on bigger ones you're gonna be close to capping your ram I easily use 11 gigs on upsurge 3x solo/duo with discord open in background of course
  14. I didn't have a problem with the dots after I cranked up my fan speed so I guess that's what my problem was appreciate the help man!!
