  1. New stuff is pretty expensive right now, especially in the RAM department. If I were you, I'd be happy to stick with that system for now for what I assume is mostly gaming. Does everything run okay? Do you have any hardware issues or unexplainable BSODs?
  2. I slapped an x5650 in my Asus P6T last year (OC'ed to 4Ghz) and while it wasn't groundbreaking or anything, it definitely helped raise my minimum frames in hectic online FPS battles to a more tolerable level.
  3. Just a small tendency for my aim to move upwards when trying to target something. I imagine that's just a matter of getting used to the mouse.
  4. Well, so far no grip issues. It's more natural to hold compared to the Copperhead. I swear it feels a little harder to click though, which may be due to the button implementation. On the Copperhead, the buttons are independent of the chassis, whereas with the Deathadder, they're part of it. Other than that it feels pretty accurate (once I got polling rate up and the DPI at a nice number) and I had little trouble getting back into a game I hadn't played for a while and clicking some heads.
  5. Thanks again for the help folks, I ended up buying the Razer Deathadder Elite at my local. I mainly picked it because it was on special and since I already have a Razer device (Orbweaver) it saves installing another piece of software for customisation.
  6. Oh ho, I see. I will look into local supply of these models and hopefully get some hands on "petting" done before purchase. Much obliged and keep those recommendations coming!
  7. Ahh, thank you, but yes, big mice are probably a no no for me. I liked my light weight Copperhead and in the past I've experienced discomfort using old (like a decade ago) monster wireless mice.
  8. Ha! Well, my local PC store usually has an assortment on display for uh....petting, so I'll definitely try out the Razers as well. If you have any suggestions for specific models, I'm all ears.
  9. Hey there, for the last....well, long time, I've been using a Razer Copperhead mouse. It's served me well and people online say the mouse button switches require comparatively low force to activate. Now that it's started cutting out and even causing blue screens of death in W10, it's probably time to find a replacement. Naturally, I'd like to find something just as easy to click, with a similar assortment of features (2 thumb buttons, high DPI and polling rate options). I'm right handed by the way. I've looked around and I see that the ASUS ROG Gladius 1 has the option to change out switches, and even comes with a couple of extras, so maybe that would suit me with one of the switch options. The ASUS ROG Gladius 2 doesn't seem to come with extra switches, so I'm not sure about that one. Anybody have experience with the above mice? If you also have any suggestions for other low force options, by all means let me know!
