  1. Any gtx 970 would work. Personally I like them to be identical but that's not necessary. Also yeah that's more than enough. As long as you have a duplicate set of power cables for the second one.
  2. I just traded an i7-860 for what was supposed to be a Radeon HD 6870 but instead he gave me an EVGA GTX 750 Ti FTW which is amazing. I'm pretty sure the CPU is/was toast (he was fully aware) and I have no idea if the Ti works or not. Was wondering if there is any possibility that a messed up graphics card could destroy my mobo/other parts if I test it out.
  3. Its got room for a 280mm or 240mm in the top and a 360mm (maybe 420mm if that exists) on the front. Also /kill thread, I went with the 570x and it's amazing and I managed to perfectly cablemanage it
  4. So i decided to go with a PNY 240gb for $75. Hopefully I can get those MIR back and into my bank account somehow. MIR are pretty shit especially if you count on them as a sale/discount price.
  5. Alright so I decided I needed an upgrade. Long story short I have a new pc with everything I need, except a storage drive. I have a 1 TB drive I kept from my last computer with Windows 7 and intel and amd gpu drivers. I now have a Ryzen and Nvidia GPU (I heard there was some weird shit going on with windows 7 and Ryzen). Anyway I have spent all my budget but as I don't have a way to wipe/change the drive I have I need to get another. I don't want another harddrive (though I guess an SSHD might be ok? I love my laptop's ssd so I'd prefer that. I need at least 128 Gb but basically have $50 in MIR to spend, if a 240 Gb is $10 more expensive I'd prob get that. (My case needs an exhaust fan too but I can prob get away without it). Rambling aside if you guys know a way to find the deal of the century please let me know. Thanks, my build is down below in case that makes any difference. (I don't consider it finished or I'd post it in the builds sub-topic. Build: Case: Corsair Crystal 570X White PSU: Corsair CX650M Mobo: MSI B350 Tomahawk Arctic GPU: MSI GTX 1060 Armor 6gb CPU: Ryzen 1500X (using Wraith Spire) RAM: 2 x 8gb Corsair Vengeance RGB Fans: 3 in front (came with case)
  6. alright guess I'm going to go with the 570x. I'm fairly good at cad drawing so I could probably make a psu shroud by myself. Thanks everybody
  7. Yeah if i were to wait I would get the H500M but I've been sitting and watching for sales for almost a month now so It's just about time I get a case and actually build my pc lol also ^^ ayy you know it
  8. The 570x is also rgb yeah I'm worried since it's white then it'll look like trash with my black psu cables (I'm not rich enough for a RM750x White) Also I should mention my parts. MSI GTX 1060 Armor 6gb MSI B350 Tomahawk Arctic Ryzen 5 1500x CX650M 2x8 Gb Corsair Vengeance RGB NZXT is pretty cool, I'm thinking of upgrading to a kraken sometime in the future but there's too much white going on for my taste. Especially since I have all white components basically. Also they don't really have a 3 tempered glass case. The front of the cases are just plain white which isn't really my favorite look.
  9. I'm building my first computer and am really stuck on which case I should get. I love the crystal 570x but all the problems with it make me nervous about buying a $180 case especially since there are usually no rebates on it. Also they don't sell the PSU shroud cover in white which is completely ridiculous and they never have the black one in stock. On the other hand I saw the H500P and really liked it. It's not especially aligned with my white themed build but its gray and could look good with white parts in it. It also is only $130 right now after MIR. It just isnt the square blocky all tempered glass feel that I really like about the 570x. Any help is very much appreciated.
