3600 doesnt fit in my budget. but i've heard many ppl say that the 3300x is the better option.

I see, so it really doesn't matter which one i choose. Unless what i'm doing really needs the 2 extra threads.

what kind of games would it stutter on? Isn't 6 cores still a lot for most of the games to handle? Also would 2 extra threads really help? I don't want to make a mistake now because i won't be able to upgrade for a while. I want to make the best choice i can right now!

i was talking about the ryzen 3 3300x and the ryzen 5 3500

So i want to build a new computer. But i'm conflicted on whether to choose the 3300x or the 3500. they are both the same price (within 10$) in india. I will be doing some light streaming on twitch. So should i get the 3500 and oc for better fps or use the 3300x because it has 2 more threads. or should i go with the 3500 oc and use nvidia hardware encoding? btw i have checked benchmarks online and the performance of the two chips is extremely close (5%). So yeah please help.
