  1. I recently updated my ryzen 5 1400 to a ryzen 2700x. For the first few days, I did notice a huge difference when gaming, but after a few day's it seems like my everything slowed down. All the games I'm running now seems like I'm still running my old ryzen 5 1400. Is my system bottle necking? Is there something else that could be wrong? I did also upgrade my ram, but i can't seem to get it to work on dual channel correct and it won't run at a normal speed. It's currently stuck around 1000. Not sure if that has to do with it. I don't think it should since I could never get my ram to work right when I installed both. My current setup is: Radeon 580 4gb, 16gb ram, 500w, B350m Bazooka motherboard.
  2. PSU was a stock one when I purchased the pc. Spec's report doesn't show anything. I wouldn't know until I pry the computer open. So from the replies so far, the cpu/ram upgrade will benefit me better for now than a gpu upgrade. I'll go with that and update how the process goes. Here is the list of the cpu/motherboard bundle I have available. I plan on sticking with my B350M motherboard just because it has wifi, and just bundling so I can put the old processor into the new motherboard. If i'm doing that would it be better to just get the cheapest bundle or will it just benefit me to swap out the motherboard also. Here is the list of bundles at my current Microcenter. There are more expense bundles, but I don't really want to put in any more than I have to.
  3. Ram is current 1x8gb If I do get the cpu/ram first, will my motherboard be able to support a 2060/5700 or would I then need to upgrade the motherboard again?
  4. Current M/B is a b350m Bazooka. I have no idea what zen +/zen 2 means.
  5. Current setup: Ryzen 5 1400, Radeon 580 4gb, 8gb ram I'm looking to upgrade the cpu/ram to either a Ryzen 7 2700x/Ryzen 5 3600 with 16gb of ram or would it be better to upgrade to 2060 6gb or 5700 8gb. The graphic's card is running approx $350 and the cpu/mother board bundle with the ram is approx $270. Main purpose for the upgrade is for gaming. I do plan on upgrading whatever part I don't in the near future. I'm curious to know which of the 2 upgrades would benefit me most for gaming. Thanks.
  6. I can't seem to find any information on this any where. I was wondering what pc specs is needed to stream the NFL games and xfinity cable? My current pc setup is AMD Ryzen 5, 3.2 ghz, AMD Raedon RX 580 with 8gb of ram. When I do stream xfinity it sometimes lags for a few seconds and then resumes. The quality isn't always HD either. It seems to be buffering a lot. Is there any minimum specs i should have to improve my viewing experience? my internet speed will vary anywhere between 70-120 mb depending the time of day. Any help will do. Thanks.
  7. problem solved. i upgraded to the netgear nighthawk ac1900. connection speed on the 2.4 is up to 15-20mbs. on the 5g it is 50+ mbs. thank you guys.
  8. yes i do have internet faster than 5mb. the computer next to the modem can get up to 50-70 mbs on the wifi and when it's connected by the ethernet it'll go above 100 mbs.
  9. i'm trying to access internet in my basement bedroom. i had recent issues with the wifi dropping while using the netgear n300 c3000 model. even when using this model my connection speeds were very low, between 1-5 mb/s. i just replaced the netgear modem/router with an arris 300 model sbg6580. this solved my issue with the wifi drop, but i'm still getting between 1-5 mb/s. my question is, would it be better off for me to upgrade to a faster modem/router or would a wifi booster work? also, my modem is located in my work office on the main floor. the area where i'm trying to get connection to is no more than 45ft from my current modem location. the modem i'm interested in will be the arris enterprises surfboard svg2482ac for approx $240.
  10. thanks for the inputs. will these parts install on win 7, 8 and 10?
