  1. I think it's the CPU. It was released in Q2'14 and the 4790K was also released in Q2'14. So get a 4790K Temporary Testbench and test the GPU on that. Use the 1600 T2 with the testbench. If that doesn't work boot off the iGPU and look at Device Manager
  2. So today a video was uploaded stating that his Knights Corner GPU he got seemed to turn on but was having no signal with post code D6. I decided to make this thread to make suggestions to help our friend. And also if you have the Secret Sauce driver, help our friend and link it here.
  3. So. My Dad used to have a PC 9 years ago. (I was 3 back then) It was a Core 2 Duo and (A non- 80+ Certified Power Supply) and I (Remember I was 3) kept powering it on and off. SOMEHOW the HDD still survived, but THE MOTHERBOARD DIDN'T. My dad's explanation was that the Power Supply died and he switched to a iMac. 8 years later after he bought the iMac, I have built my first PC and the iMac is slowing down ALOT. My dad seems intrested again in the PC because another old 8 year old PC I coincidentally also have is FASTER and with a Pentium processor. So then I made this list. Is this good or do I need any improvements. He needs to do lots of light video/photo editing and Microsoft Office work. He doesn't seem interested in Overclocking.
  4. You are very lucky. I live in Edmonton, AB and I have to drive 15 hours to get to Richmond.
  5. @Al3x_B0ss If you fly Air Canada, and fly to YVR on July 11th and return to HND on the 15th, for the lowest prices it's only ¥158,589.62. It's cheaper and you spend 2 hours and 30 minutes in KIX one way and 5 hours 30 minutes the other.
  6. Ebay Buyers Protection. Buy it and if you get scammed, get your money back.
  7. If you up the voltage, it will reduce your CPU lifespan. If you don't and overclock at the stock voltage (usually 1.35V), your good.
  8. Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Probably come every other year.
