  1. It's already been debunked, what they failed to mention was that the PS5's they observed this behavior on were previously damaged. No worries on non-damaged/modified PS5's.
  2. I just had this problem start yesterday. Every time I put my PC into sleep mode, it just turns off. I tried putting it into sleep mode and immediately waking it and the fans started spinning but it turned itself off before I could even sign in. Does anyone know what might be causing this?
  3. I just got a cheap RGB mousepad. Looks pretty cool, but when I put my PC into sleep mode the lights stay on. I could turn it off manually by hitting the button that cycles through the different modes, but that's tedious and annoying. I tried looking up how to disable power to USB ports and only found something mentioning EUP/ERP in the mobo settings. I searched through my mobo settings (AsRock Pro4 B350) and I couldn't find anything. What else can I do?
  4. It's definitely electronic, I'm not home right now so I can't provide a recording right now.
  5. I bought an LG C1 last year and I've been happy with it. Though about a week ago I noticed some buzzing in the speakers, specifically when someone was talking. I did a little investigating and found that I should play a swept sine wave test. Once I did that, I found the buzzing to be the worst between 200 and 300 Hz. I decided to do more digging and lo and behold the human voice ranges from 125 Hz (males) to 300 Hz (children). My question is, is this an indication that the speakers are broken or is there something I can do to fix it?
  6. I get that Apple is forcing Tile to pay them their share for purchases on the App Store, but at the same time, how about not having a subscription model? Try tying the cost into the cost of the device instead of creating an endless stream of money.
  7. Hello, I am currently using a single headset for both my PC and PS5 and sometimes I want audio from both at the same time. Is there anyway I can do that?
  8. I didn't know there was a public IPv4 address. I kinda hate the whole networking side of computers. I will try it out when he's off work, thanks guys!
  9. I'm having problems setting up a server on my computer for me and my brother to play on. I am able to start the server and join locally, but my brother (lives in a different state) can't join. He times out when I give him the private IP (I know it has to be public IP), but when I give him the public IP (it's really long) it just immediately fails and says that it can't be found. I assuming it has to be somewhere in the network settings that I have messed up. I allowed the connection through my firewall and have tried several things. I think it might have something to do with port forwarding, but I'm not sure. I have included a screenshot of the port forwarding settings for my router. I blocked out what I thought might be important.
  10. I just moved from a wireless gaming headset to a wired headset. I would like hear some more ways of dealing with the cable. The only thought I have had so far is one of those spring loaded cable winders that you can pull from both ends and then it would automatically retract when I want it to, but I haven't found anything online that would meet those needs (they have all been too small).
  11. I'm currently taking an Applied Fluid Mechanics course in college and a project that we are doing is a paper that is about anything fluids related. I chose to do mine on AIO Liquid Coolers. Now as a part of the research process my professor wants us to contact parts of the industry that relates to the topic that we chose and get information directly. So my question to you guys is: Which companies should I try to contact and how should I contact them? I will fully admit I'm not that hopeful on getting any information because she wants technical info, but if I can get anything at all (or at least show that I tried) that is what I'm aiming for.
  12. Her whole "I shouldn't be in trouble for my unfinished piece that my boss altered and published" is stupid. The article should have never have even written in the first place. If she would've took a step back and thought "Is this worth writing about?" she wouldn't be in this situation.
  13. I found a cereal box in the trash, I'm good now.
  14. So I just made a deal with a guy on Craigslist to sell my graphics card and we planned to meet tomorrow, but I realized now that I don't have much of anything to put it in. Basically I don't have a box, so what else could I use?
