  1. has anyone encountered this kind of problem before? ive been having my cpu for -0.125v for almost 2 years now i think it happened after i tried re-undervolting my laptop by -0.125v because of unknown reasons why it went back to 0.00v ps: not sure why the voltage always reset itself back to 0.00v without any crash or whatever i7-9750H rtx 2060 16gb ram below is one of the example i had screenshot thanks in advance
  2. Linus has a “full blown recommendation” on nitro 5... I wonder I can’t seem to find info about expandability for the kasee I mentioned. Can the storage be expanded? what about thunderobot? Is this brand decent? what models you recommend for graphics with 1660ti?
  3. I’ll be spending my next 4 years in China, and the programmes and apps the uni uses are Chinese based, so if I get a laptop that’s not Chinese locale by default, Windows will not be able to read it and will give me punctuations. These models are available in China Kasee Z7-CT7NA i7-9750H 8G DDR4 1660ti 512 SSD ASUS TUF FX95 (FX505 equivalent) R7-3750H 16G DDR4 1660ti 512 SSD + 1TB HDD 120Hz IPS 1080p Acer NITRO 5 (2019) i5-9300H 8G DDR4 1660ti 512 SSD (144hz option available) any others you would like to recommend?
  4. Hi all, good day! I am facing a very huge difficulty because I don’t have much experience with laptops as I’m a desktop guy. Long story short, only reason why I’m getting a new laptop in China is for my studies, which is quite heavily dependent on Chinese based windows. (I’d get ??? and =$>•\¥~€>* if it’s English based) I see some foreign names (machenike, mechrevo, hasee etc) which is not in the global market and it scares me. Main purpose: uni and gaming budget : +- 1000 usd pref specs:- ...graphics: 1660ti ...ram: 8/16gb ...storage: (at least) 512ssd + hdd if possible ...display: 15” 144hz (ignore refresh rate if overbudget) ...weight: ~2.5kg is fine ...battery life: what to expect? ...thin bezzels Min gaming req: League/apex/cities:skylines models that I’m looking at: ASUS TUF FX505 Acer nitro 5 (No 1660ti sadly) Hasee Z7 (They all look the same to me) Off-the-charts-price models: MSI GS65 ACER PREDATOR HELIOS 300 If I have to tweak my requirements please let me know. Thank yall
  5. I have plans to get a new card for mining and did some research to decide which card is better for mining ethereum. Apparently besides forums or youtubers that says AMD Radeon cards are best for mining ethereum, there is no actual yet accurate data concerning the hashing rate of each card. Im using R9 290x and avg hashing rate is 29Mh But apparently some data that ive found is far less than this. Any card recommendations for mining ethereum? Im thinking of getting 1070ti or 2x RX580 Thanks alot
  6. But will the system be able to startup? I mean like will it crash or something?
  7. Thanks alot Nah i just wanna get an extra card for the sake of mining ?
  8. Hi guys! Im quite a newbie in pc hardware, and i would like to ask a simple question My system is running with an intel i5-4440 and MSI Lightning R9 290X 4GB card and i would like to add a second card. Is it necessary to get back the exact card or can I get same chipset but different branding (ie. Sapphire R9 290X) ? Thank you very much for your help! Have a good day.
