    hmmm, didnt know that, cool ? (I'm rocking an XFX 750w from like 6 years ago. Havent needed a new 1 since so I have no exerience with either.) no worries & happy building. hope to see a pic of the finished build someday. ?

    change that corsair power supply for 1 of the SeaSonics I posted and its even cheaper again (£10 or £20 cheaper) I thought as much ? could he get a cheaper Z390 motherboard? should he stick with the Gigabyte? thoughts?

    Only just saw reply. sorry, forgot to refresh first. Well I'd personally say 80+gold would be enough, especially with a SeaSonic powersupply. You dont get better than those guys, and these 2 are cheaper.

    why not go for a 80+ Gold Power supply instead of a Platinum Grade, theres not really much difference in terms of efficiency.

    lol, yeah ok I can respect that. It's alot of money spent for bragging writes but go for it if you want. just bear in mind the extra cost here vs the "ooo lookie, it purdy nice" factor ? hmm, lets see, what else....

    are you basing your choice for that graphics card on the boost clock numbers on scan.co.uk? (if so then heres the same numbers on a cheaper card (£190 cheaper): https://www.scan.co.uk/products/gigabyte-aorus-geforce-rtx-2080-ti-xtreme-11gb-gddr6-vr-ready-graphics-card-4352-core-1770mhz-core-c) but still, why that specific 2080ti graphics card? wouldnt any 2080Ti do? (im playing devils advocate here, humour me...)
