Hi, I recently broke the Cable/Antenna connector on the back of my Seiki HD TV (Model No. SE55GY19) the connector you screw on a cable wire for people like me that still have cable TV. Anyway. I broke off this piece, I still have the broken piece, but I can't get it to just pop back inside its connection, I've tried googling this topic but only found ways to fix on old CRT's or European TV connectors. If anyone has any experience or words of advice it would be appreciated!

Does anyone know what the purpose of this svchost.com is? This is an issue thats been present for a while now, Even after I reinstall WIndows 10, 8, or 7 at first it isnt there, after I try and install the drivers and use ninite to install programs I suddenly see that Basic programs, (Example, Task Manager, Google Chrome, MsConfig, etc.) fail to open, unless I right-click and run as admin, I've switched the ram, I've changed hard drives, but this svchost.com still appears and it basically ruins everything you do. I also found this related to it in the registry. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell\open\command] @="C:\\Windows\\svchost.com \"%1\" %*" "IsolatedCommand"="\"%1\" %*" after I delete it and remove the registry key, within minutes its back there yet again. Does anyone have a clue of what to do? Cause I've been through every build of windows 7,8 and 10 with no luck. Thanks all. Specs Intel Celeron N3350 2 GB Ram 500 GB HDD

The hdd is completly formated. The thumb drive I’m using to install the Linux oses is 8.0 gb. I think that’s what it’s picking up.

I still never got it working first or last. I now try Linux with more issues. Im soon gonna throw out this laptop ugh ? . Thanks anyways.

My PC orignaly had Windows 10 on it, that ran horribly slow. I have tried to install Cloudready and during the install the PC just froze and that was it. I tried to install Lubuntu on it and it said I didn't have enough disk space. I now have tried installing Zorin OS with the same issue, there is a 500GB HDD inside. So, does anyone know what is wrong? You need at least 8.6 GB disk space to install Zorin. This computer only has 8.0 GB. My specs are: Intel Celeron N3350 2 GB Ram WD 500 GB HDD

Sure, glad to (try) and help you.

Do you see anything from the BIOS when It first boots? Like a logo or whatever

Well, with me and my very cheap computers. I currently have another Acer laptop that had the screen cracked (that I removed) and I use it as a desktop PC now, I got Windows 7 on here, cause As Similar with the other laptop it Runs Windows 10 horribly, And Windows 7 makes this PC feel so much more new. That's why I want to try. If I don't succeed I guess I'll end up back here looking for a Linux Distro. Nope, I just burned it to a disk. I had to disable Secure Boot, After i did that it said Windows is loading files. Now I'm stuck at Starting Windows, the hard drive or CD Drive stopped spinning, the fans also did. It wont boot at all.
-
So, how would I go about installing it? if i can track down a original .iso and burn it.
-
Nope, I can't do nothing. I read on multiple websites that other owners of these laptops are facing the same issue.

Does anyone know how to get Windows 7 X64 to install on UEFI? Cause my Acer ES1-533's BIOS is UEFI-Only, which apparently is a issue alot of users are facing (at least according to other people online) who can't change it to Legacy. The laptop originally shipped with Win10, but as soon as it gets online or you try and install something it comes to be very very sluggish. I tried to install Windows 8.1, which actually made this PC very very fast, but I couldn't get a Graphics driver installed, So. Does anyone know how to get Windows 7 installed on UEFI? There has to be a way. Thanks everyone

G'day Ladies and Gents, Whats the best option for an 2009-ish Netbook, that shipped with Windows XP? The specs are... Intel Atom Z520 2 GB Ram (Upgraded) Intel GMA Graphics And a 500 GB HDD (Also Upgraded) I'd prefer anything other then XP, I've tried Everything I can think of. What do you guys think? Should I throw it outside and run it over with my quad? Or, is there some kind of Linux or MacOS or Custom Windows thats optimized for Atom CPU's? Cause I'm lost.
