  1. So right now I am trying all i can to research as much as possible. Of course, when I bought my case, I clearly didn't do it enough. The case I bought was the p350x and I didn't notice it had a max cooling size of 160mm (Noctua NH-D15S will be right up against the glass which I don't trust). Now, the problem here is that the best way to cool the 8700k is with a beefy air cooler according to many. I was desperate so I came into liquid cooling/aio alternatives. I came across some really good looking ones that I would honestly love. (Corsair h115i pro, nzxt kraken x62 v2, evga clc 280, etc.) The major problems with this is that I am a very anxious person and leakage and pump failure are the factors that make this hard for me to choose. So what I'm basically wondering is out of those 3 AIO's, which one would probably last the longest, known to have extremely little to no failures or leaks, and would support me with replacing all the damaged hardware. I know so many people say, "Liquid cooler aio's have an incredibly rare chance of failing or leaking," but with all the evidence I've gathered there has been numerous reports of RMA's, failures, leakages, etc happening with aio's. Now you may say this probably isnt true but I've seen so many forums about leakages, videos (gamer nexus, paul's hardware etc.). But if anyone can confirm if at least one of the clc's i listed are reliable in replacing damaged hardware, no leakage, reliable pump with extremely low fail rate. TL; DR I would appreciate advice on any aio's that are reliable in brands "happy" with replacing damaged hardware other than the aio itself, barely any reports of leakage or failure, and overall noise, cooling, and ease of everything. CPU: Intel Core i7-8700k Mobo: Asus ROG Strix z370-e Gaming Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8gb DDR4-3200mhz CAS 16 Storage: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB NVMe SSD GPU: Probably an rtx 2070 Case: Phanteks Eclipse p350x PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750w G2 I will probably try to overclock all cores to 4.7-5ghz if this setup allows it and I win the silicon lottery. I know I am asking a whole lot and this is a looong post, but I want to make sure i do things right and actually find something good.

    CPU Cooler Help

I'm having a hard time trying to pick out a good CPU cooler, and I need something under 160mm that is equivalent to Noctua NH-d15 for my 8700k. My case is the p350x, and I would really appreciate some help on this. If you need any more information I'll gladly give it.
  3. You'd say basically like only a 1-4 degree difference? Also noise is probably also another issue for me.
  4. Would you happen to know if there's a huge difference in thermals from the ninja 4 and the nh-d15s? I want to put all the $ i can into the GPU. Like I said I'd probably end up trying to reach 4.5-4.8ghz, and would be nice to keep thermals at a good state.
  5. So what if I got the rev. b version? Would that be better for me? Or should I just go with the 15s and hope it actually fits? I would like the best cooling now so I don't regret it later, so what do you think is my best option? Thank you so much for the help
  6. Sorry for not specifying. Yes, USD. I've been told that the Scythe Fuma is almost close to the NH-D15 in performance, but I would like to know if that is even remotely true, since it would be nice to spend less money but still have something that performs like a D15. My problem with the D15S is the fact that its huge and is literally right at the limit, which i fear will become a problem. Do you know if there's anything shorter with similar performance? If not, i might just have to go with the D15s (or the Fuma if it's actually true).Thank you!
  7. I just realized the p350x has a max height of 160mm, and I already bought it. I guess I'd say I can spend to 100 on a cooler. I've been looking at the Cryorig h5 Ultimate, the Noctua nh-d15s, the scythe fuma rev. 2, dark rock 4, Noctua NH-D14, etc
  8. CPU Air Coolers My current build is CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor (Purchased For $299.99) Motherboard: Asus - ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (Purchased For $179.99) Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (Purchased For $149.99) Storage: Samsung - 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive (Purchased For $109.99) Case: Phanteks - Eclipse P350X (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case (Purchased For $74.62) Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (Purchased For $69.99) Total: $884.57 I'm going to be using this build for mid overclocks, probably 4.5-4.8ghz, and I was wondering what cpu cooler I should buy for that. I don't plan on getting the noctua nh-d15 since the color scheme doesn't fit my build, and replacing the fans would just be a waste. I might delid if I have to. Thanks! (GPU will probably be a rtx 2070, 1080, or 1070 ti) I might have it be delidded but idk if I should risk it. If anyone has suggestions for me I would greatly appreciate the help! Thanks!
  9. Do you think it would be worth it to get the p350x over the 460x? Or the 460x over the p350x? If it only really comes down to how I feel about the look then that's gonna be hard but reasonable. Also, do you know if the meshify C is a better option? Thank you!
  10. Need Help with Case Debate Does anyone know if there's a huge difference between the Corsair Crystal 460x and 570x? I'm worried about thermals, space for cable management, size, etc. I'm not liquid cooling so I won't need to use a radiator. I'm also torn between those 2 and the p350x. If i got the p350x i would end up buying fans that would put the case at a higher price point (at the time) than the 460x and the 570x (on sale). So I'm not entirely sure what to do here. I like the design on the p350x but I'm worried about airflow, thermals, cable problems, etc. It would be nice to see all three of these cases' thermals in a chart, even if it wouldn't be accurate. 11. Do you guys think I should go with the Phanteks P350X, the Meshify C, or the Corsair Crystal 570x RGB? My main priority is figuring out noise (not really my TOP priority) and air flow/ temperatures of the cpu, gpu, and the rest of the build. I would also like something with decent cable management options for a first time builder like me. I really like the look of the P350X but with 2 140mm corsair fans it would be 140$ altogether, so I'm not sure if i should get the P350X (or the meshify C), or get the crystal for the included fans.
  12. Does anyone have any suggestions for cases under 150$ with good airflow, good cable management options, included case fans, can be an RGB case, good for any size gpu, cpu cooler, etc. Options I've looked at: Corsair: - Corsair Crystal Series 570X Black RGB - Corsair Tempered Glass Crystal Series 460X RGB - Corsair Obsidian 500D - Corsair Carbide Spec-Omega RGB Black Cooler Master: - Cooler Master h500 RGB - Cooler Master MasterBox K500 RGB - Cooler Master MasterBox TD500 RGB - MasterBox Pro 5 RGB Fractal Design: -Fractal Design Meshify C Black Build: CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor CPU Cooler: CRYORIG - H5 Ultimate 76 CFM CPU Cooler Motherboard: Asus - ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory Storage: Samsung - 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive Video Card: Asus - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8 GB ROG STRIX Video Card Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Case: ?

Is it a good ideaI was wondering if I should get the EVGA G2 750w, EVGA G3 750w, EVGA G2 650w, or EVGA G3 650w. I might be upgrading this build with a 1080 ti, or RTX series laaater on, and I'd rather not have to upgrade the PSU while having to upgrade the GPU. Does anyone know if 750w would be good enough to keep or will it be "too much" for the current build," and if it's good enough for the potential future upgrade. The prices are pretty much around the same, and I heard that the G3 was made to be smaller and so runs a lot louder. If you guys have any suggestions on components I don't have already, please let me know. Thank you!
  14. I made a thread earlier, and I came down to these few selections but I'm not sure which one I should spend my money on for gaming and some music (but mostly casual gaming and sometimes FPS), and the only headphones I've had recently is the Razer Kraken V7.1 v2, (I changed to earbuds a while ago, but they broke so I had to use the Razer) and I needed something better. I'm currently using my Dell Inspiron 7559 laptop, but I'm going build a PC in less than a few months with a motherboard that people say have a good enough amp/onboard soundcard for anything and can support up to 600ohms. But I heard that too much bass will enhance the sound of explosions and block out some other important things. If that's true, I don't want anything too bass heavy, more like a balance maybe. Another thing I've also heard is that the 598 has a very large soundstage, but I don't know how that is compared to the others since the Razer Kraken isn't a very good headset to compare.I'm not sure what else I should mention so if anyone needs more information I'd be happy to give it. Thank you!(I also wear glasses so comfort is a BIG deal for me) Budget: $0-$200 (preferably under 200)
  15. A while back, I came to a conclusion that "Gaming" Headsets are a complete waste of money. I've been stuck with this Razer Kraken Virtual 7.1 headset, and even my earbuds are better than these. I mostly use this headset for gaming, discord/skype calls, and a small amount of music listening. My earbuds just recently stopped working and I'm tired of using this headset. I'm not really that big on FPS as much as a lot of people, I basically just play a FPS with friends once in a while. If I were to play casual games like, AC Odyssey, GTA V, RotTR, Dark Souls, etc., and would it be worth the sound leakage of the open back, or should I just go for closed back headphones? Is there also such a thing as semi-open-back headphones? I've also never had any kind of bass-y headphones so I'm not entirely sure how that is. I would also like something that has noise isolation and/or noise canceling. (I was also thinking about getting a modmic for youtube videos or just Skype calls.)Headphones I've researched so far: (Closed) Sennheiser HD 598CS:https://en-us.sennheiser.com/headphone-around-ear-home-mobile-hd-598-cs(Closed) Audio-Technica ATH-M50x:https://www.audio-technica.com/cms/headphones/99aff89488ddd6b1/index.html(Open) Audio-Technica ATH-AD700x:https://www.audio-technica.com/cms/headphones/591d1ba45202f375/index.html(Open) Sennheiser HD 598SR:https://en-us.sennheiser.com/headphone-home-audio-hifi-stereo-hd-598srAny other suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thank you!
