I believe 32bit Minecraft/Java has a 1GB limit. Reinstall JRE 8 (64-bit) and Minecraft.
Edit: Never mind. OS is not 32 bit, but still check if its 32 bit programs

That’s why you backup before you mod. On a HDD it’s 20 minites copy time vs 6 hour download.
I would say just redownload the whole game and do a proper backup next time you mod

I've used the Pure Rock several times now, in server builds for work, workstations and personal builds, can't recommend it enough, I'd definitely go for it over the Hyper 212
