  1. So for anyone that might stumble into this post what i found is that some lines of amd cards have this problem. Ive found that many users with a card from the 6000 series also have this problem. Someone said turning sharpness off helped didnt for me. Some people just use reshade or something similar to diminish the effect. For me if a game has supersampling that helps a lot. So from what i found out i think ill just have to live with this until i get a new gpu :p. PS: I also tried the PRO version of the drivers, nothing changed.
  2. Tried it, nothing . Thanks for trying to help tho.
  3. yeah i thought it was implied by saying ive tried everything and so on but yeah i didnt specify it; i did uninstall reinstall update my drivers multiple times
  4. Its the same no matter what aa option. Also its not just the walls its every edge aswell.
  5. in this semester i had exactly the same issue and used wsl2. It is great for learning how to use linux but keep in mind that sometimes some commands will not work properly. Also as a side quest i tried using wsl2 to host a lego universe server and the performance was horrible in comparison to an actual linux install on a much weaker computer. Compiling simple programs is instant, dont know how it would go about bigger ones with many libraries to link tho. But generally its a great option in order to learn the basics of linux.
  6. Hello, so i have a sapphire pulse rx580 8gb for a few years now and ever since i got it ive been noticing this weird "moving pixels" and very horrible aa in every single game. Its not game braking and i usually dont notice it much but ive been wondering if anyone else has seen this before and knows how to fix it. Ive literally tried everything, different settings on the amd software, ive reinstalled windows multiple times since ive got it, upgraded my bios and so on. The one thing that seems to be making a difference is if i use virtual super resolution but that isnt really a choice since my pc isnt that good. Here is a video in gw2 to demonstrate what i mean by "moving pixels" but keep in mind in other games this effect is much much more amplified. Notice where my mouse is pointing. Also the game graphics settings are at max with the highest aa setting for gw2 being SMAA high. My specs: Ryzen 5 5500 (had the same problem with ryzen 3 2200g) AMD sapphire pulse rx580 8gb asrock 350ab pro4 with bios 7.0 so that it can support Cezanne (had the same problem before upgrading the cpu) dual channel 16gb ram with xmp at 3200mhz Any ideas or advice are welcome, thanks in advance. EDIT: I have also uninstalled/reinstalled/updated my drivers many times and are currrently on version 24.1.1 . Guild Wars 2_clip_1_clip_1.mp4
  7. im not sure i understand what to do but his pc is on a wooden table
  8. no only on his computer, so if thats the case could it be the mobos fault or even the psu's?
  9. Hello, so whenever my friend talks on discord we both hear a high frequency annoying sound. This didnt happen some time ago. He tried various headsets, both the ports on the mobo and on 2 different cases, different windows setttings, uninstalling and reinstalling sound drivers, nothing. We even changed some bios sound settings to see if anything happens. It happens on all voice programs and we dont know what to do anymore. Noise-suppression does nothing. Could it be the motherboards fault? What could it be? Thanks in advance.
  10. look at the girl's face and the grass on the second image, honestly in the screenshots it does not look that bad. The bigger problem is that the jagged edges "move" and you can see the squared edges moving. EDIT: i used dsr 4k and it seems mostly fine but my poor rx580 cant handle that xd. So do you guys think it is the games fault? The settings it has dont say they aa method, its just labeled from 1-6. I have noticed this in other games aswell tho.
  11. Hello, i know this has been posted on various forums many times but i cant find an answer that i understand. So i got an rx580 and in most of the games i see a lot of jagged edges and most of the times the pixels actually move which is kinda horrible to look at. I just started playing Dragon quest XI and the problem is way too obvious here. Every setting that i change seems to not have any effect. I tried the highest aa setting on the game and the lowest but they both look the same. I tried various settings in the radeon software, "use application settings" "enchance application settings" "override" all look the same xd. So i researched and i found some people saying that you use dsr (which i tried and downscaled from 2k but still the same) and that in 1440p it works fine? i dont quite get it. Is it my gpu's fault? My 1080p monitor? Bad aa in games? Some insight would be nice, thanks in advance
  12. Hello, so i got a ck350 with brown outemu switches a month ago and some keys dont work half of the times i press them. I really like this keyboard, the aesthetics and feel are both great but the problem with the keys is too annoying to overlook. So my retailer said they would give me back the money (in their eshop that is) so that i can buy another keyboard from them. Ill add some more money on the budget and the options i have are the ck550 with brown gateron switches and the razer blackwidow chroma 2019 with razer green switches. I do want the ck550 bcs razer greens are a bit too noisy but im very worried that ill suffer the same fate with the keys. Is the keys not working a common coolermaster issue or was i just very unlucky?
  13. @Electronics Wizardy i dont have any wired devices because my dsl line is an bad spot in my house, it might just be my idea but i feel like when i left 5ghz on like one of the devices that supported it had very good connection while every other connected device had very horrible speeds. The isp is Cosmote i dont know if they're known outside of my country. As for what approved modems they have, i cant find a list anywhere other than the ones that they are selling which is this one: https://www.cosmote.gr/eshop/browse/Smarthome-Connectivity/Connectivity/Routers/-/N-5zhic4 again thanks for helping
  14. Hi, so recently for no apparent reason my wifi has been going crazy. Even tho my devices dont disconnect from the router they just stop having access to the internet. I talked with my isp many times but at this point im pretty sure they are not to be trusted but alas i cannot cancel my contract with them just yet. I have a 100Mbps connection, i turn 5Ghz off because most of my devices dont support it and reguraly find the channel with the less traffic to change to. Yet i still keep having these "disconnects" even when im next to the router. My modem/router is a sercomm speedport plus which has been provided to me by the isp and after some research, i found out that a lot of people have issues with disconnecting with it. So i decided to buy something better, but i have no idea of what i am doing. A thing that worries me because as i said i dont know what im doing, is VoIP. Every cable configuration ive tried with this router, unless my phone is connected to the router it wont have signal. So do i need to get a modem/router with VoIP or else i wont have phone signal? Is there anything i can do with this modem/router to make my situation better? If not, any modem/router recommendations for a 100Mbps connection? Will every modem work with my DSL or does it have requirements to work? Thanks in advance
  15. Hello, a friend of mine wants to build a pc and asked me to pick parts for him and i want some wizards here to review my choices and give their suggestions. The budget is up to 500euros and he plans to use the pc for his studies and some light gaming with games like league of legends. A specific thing he asked was to make it not use a lot of electicity which is why i chose a plus gold psu. Here are the parts: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G Box 140euros RAM: G.Skill RipjawsV 16GB DDR4-3200MHz 55euros MOBO: here im a bit lost, im between MSI B450-A Pro Max 83euros and Asrock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4 80euros SSD: Samsung 860 Evo 500GB 65euros PSU: Be Quiet Pure Power 11 500W CM 75euros and a coolermaster box that he liked at 61 euros which all adds up to a total of 479euros. All suggestions are very appreciated, thanks in advance :).
