  1. Control panel -> system & security -> create and format hard drive partitions Reduce your windows partition and install ubuntu on the free space. For the dual boot you will be asked where to install grub, chose the disk you'll boot on for the dual boot and it's okay.
  2. 500 millions and no pc version considering the xbone flop and the pc games making more money in 2014/2015? lel
  3. Canonical, the maintainer of Ubuntu is not affiliated in any way with google. Valid, authentic iso are avaible here: http://www.ubuntu.com/ I'm not being a dick, there is no magic, how do you expect to go far with this system if you can't even bother reading a few webpages. I'm sorry but if it is to complain here you should stop and revert to windows. When we help at troubleshooting we expect you to have done the bare minimal of informing yourself with the basic, simple documentation, accessible from the same download webpage.
  4. Ok so why does it display 11.04 on the screen... http://youtu.be/uM2LIRJjeZY?t=1m32s
  5. Being new isn't an excuse to not read the documentation: http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/install-ubuntu-desktop If you ask me it's pretty clear, instead of using and outdated version from 2011 wich most certainly doesn't support newer hardware you should have informed yourself about the version numbers and their signification. You say you got the 14.04 and yet you're showing us a screen of 11.04, we can't help you if you're that much confused.
  6. No, the second one is the latest beta that was released earlier, several people including me have video acceleration BSOD coming from atikmdag.
  7. Yeah I had BSOD in windows 7 from atikmdag, reverted to 13.12.
  8. Yeah you still need to download build-essential module-assistant curl and the headers so you'll need a wired access to download those.
  9. http://www.linux-hardware-guide.com/fr/2012-11-04-asus-pce-n15-pcie-802-11n-300mbits-wps Instructions are here. You must download & compile the module However expect low performance with it.
  10. I laughed so hard with the graphs. Of course non cold start is the fastest because it never closes, it's saved in the explorer.exe And microsoft considers everything else trying to do this as a virus. The thing is when you use IE it takes more ram and makes explorer alot more unstable. Btw I thought I'd nver see this: pro IE guys LOL chrome && firefox && opera > IE Btw did you update IE today to fix the 0day exploit LMAO IE is the most unsecure browser for windows.
  11. Yeah he's a troll. Can't even bother to search configurations: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Font_configuration
  12. How about installing and configuring the Fonts? You know you can install windows fonts to make it look like windows if you wish. You don't even tell what distro you're on. I'm guessing you're just a windows troll.
  13. I would suggest buying from reddit if you can. You can find enterprise/pro windows for only 10$ and the trusted sellers do not scam you.
  14. Amd smokes both Intel and Nvidia... BECAUSE AMD PRODUCTS RUN SO HOT Get it?
