  1. This. I don't really see where TechPowerUp is claiming it is a Reference PCB anyway. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/gigabyte-rtx-3090-ti-gaming.b9555 It lists the Board number as the same as. Founders Edition, but it also says that on cards that VERY clearly have a different PCB (actual Reference cards), so that seems inaccurate.
  2. Does anyone know if the Gigabyte 3090ti Gaming 24G cards are just Founders Edition PCB? I’ve not seen any other AIB cards use that form factor but looking at photos it certainly appears to be so. I am looking for a waterblock for the card and am wondering if just a Founders Edition block will fit. Bykski is the only company I’ve found listing a block for the card so far, but it wouldn’t arrive until October and I need a block to install the card. (Limited on PCI slot spacing and my setup is watercooled.)
  3. Just recalibrated, and by the calibration test I'm UNDER Extruding... Tried it twice and got the same result each time. I'll have to dial back the extrusion in Prusa Slicer and see what happens.
  4. I just recalibrated when I switched to PLA but haven't since being back to PETG again, I will run a calibration process again.
  5. So I am fairly new to printing but things have been going smoothly until quite recently. Since day one I have been using PETG to print as I intend to make car parts and wanted to learn the ropes with a material I could actually use long term. Only very recently I'm getting some failed prints due to a weird issue. I have been constantly tweaking to improve my prints but I have zero idea what could be causing this problem. Namely when printing PETG, sometimes (only SOMETIMES), the Infill seems to over-extrude or peel up. It gets stuck to the hot end and smears around. Then I hear the nozzle and cooling fan ducts clicking off of it as they travel over the printed part after those globs cool a little. However the First layers and perimeters print beautifully. Zero blemishes or issues. It is just the Infill acting up. I've tried tuning the print on the fly, reducing Extrusion percentage, raising hot end temperature, increasing the Cooling Fan speed, and baby-stepping the Z-Step. None have seemed to have any appreciable effect. I'd think Perimeters and First layers would be affected as well if it was something like bed level (which I recheck often). They are just fine though. A few weeks ago I threw on a roll of PLA for some less important prints and it printed beautifully. Never skipped a beat. This weekend I switched back to PETG and got a handful of perfect prints out of. Then today I started a 5 hour long print, and it started to have this issue as soon as the infill began. I've seen this called "Shoveling", and I guess that could be what I'm fighting, but none of the posts I've found online about it have been much help. I'm running a basic Ender 3 with a handful of minor upgrades. It does have the Silent 4.2.7 Creality board in it, the issue was there before and after board swaps. The PETG Filament is "Dikale" brand from Amazon and like I said, SOME prints are fine. The first few dozen that I did had no issues. I was using Cura as my slicer but the last few prints I've switch to Prusa Slicer. The issue occurred with both Slicers.
  6. Hmmm, MicroCenter was showing them as in stock in the PA Store this morning. I haven't called to confirm as I don't think I have time to run to the store anyway.
  7. I'm hesitant to pre-order one from B&H. I ordered a Cellphone Cage from them months ago and it went right from Pre-Order to Backorder. Not feeling too trusting about how much they oversell their supply. EDIT: They aren't taking Pre-Orders anymore.
  8. Put a 5900X in my cart on NewEgg, but had to remove some memory that was still sitting in the cart. By the time I hit "Remove" on that RAM the 5900X was gone. Sigh Anyone actually get one?
  9. I preordered a phone cage (smallrig) for my iPhone in July from B&H. It went directly from "Pre-Order!" to "Backordered". So I'm hesitant to order a CPU from them.
  10. I have an entire drive in my system that I CANNOT disable Read-Only on. No matter what I do they instantly revert back to Read-Only. I've tried adding a new User to my Windows Install and giving that user Full Permission. I've tried changing the owner of the driver to multiple different Users, no go. Command line property changing, Nope. NONE of the fixes I've found online have worked. The strange thing is the Folders say Read-Only but the individual video files inside of them don't, however they won't transfer. Adding to the strangeness, I moved some files from that folder earlier today without issue (just a small folder full of photos). When I went to move around 300GB of video files this suddenly popped up about 30% of the way through. This is a really big problem for me as this drive is my Video Editing Workflow drive. So it is currently full of 1.5TB of Video Project files that I cannot back up at all. I did reinstall Windows 10 last week after my windows install became corrupted. However the drive in question is an entirely separate NVMe drive (my Windows install is on a SATA SSD). PLEASE HELP, not being able to do anything with these files is a MAJOR problem for me, I cannot lose over a half dozen video projects just because of a Windows fault. I do have the footage spread across a couple drives, but some of the less important ones are ONLY on this drive currently. I was literally trying to do the backup of them when this issue came up.
  11. I'm on BIOS Revision 2.60. 3.00, 3.10, and 3.20 all show CSM in the BIOS but if you open the sub menu it just says "CSM Is Disabled" and has no options for Enabling. I'd be interested to hear if that is the same for you. I contacted AsRock and they just told me to enable UEFI booting of my OS. Which you can do on UNRAID but I shouldn't have to. CSM support seems to be broken and that isn't my fault.
  12. Issue solved. To boot the UNRAID USB required CSM to be Enabled. For some reason the THREE most recent BIOS for this motherboard all are missing CSM. They list it but the menu for it is blank. I had to go back to the 4th Revision back to actually get CSM. THAT Fixed the issue. I put in a service Ticket to Asrock informing them of the CSM issue, hopefully they fix it.
  13. Windows Boot Media worked, annoying. Went to Flash BIOS and the system decided to stop booting all together. Removed an HBA card I had in there and now it boots. Flashing BIOS now and hoping that doesn't screw up the 3400G support.
  14. I was trying off of my "old" Boot Drive as that SHOULD work according to every resource I can find for UNRAID. So I just grabbed another stick, flashed a new boot drive, and tried that, still nothing.
  15. So I'm upgrading my Unraid Storage Server and went with an Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 motherboard and an AMD Ryzen 5 3400G processor. It booted perfectly fine, got into BIOS and tweaked settings without issue. Set the Boot Priority to my USB stick containing UNRAID (tried in multiple rear I/O 3.0 USB ports). However when it reboots, it just automatically opens the BIOS menu. If I hit F11 and try to force it to boot from the USB stick, again it just goes to the BIOS menu on restart. I'm getting no Errors, cannot see any issues with anything, just not booting off the USB stick at all. It clearly detects it being there. Plugged the stick into one of my Windows machines and it detected fine, so there doesn't seem to be a drive issue. The UNRAID server was working just a few days ago but I was having some hardware trouble with my old Motherboard/CPU.
