  1. My suggestions: America's Army: Proving Grounds Insurgency Black Squad (free version of CS:GO) Squad Arma 3 Battlefield 1 (or 4) Project Reality Playerunknown's Battlegrounds Ghost Recon's Wildlands Verdun Heros and Generals
  2. No, I currently do not, but I have some suggestions. When looking for jobs, be sure to research it very careful and if they have you sign documents, be very, very careful and keep documentation of what they ask of you, what they make you do, how they treat you etc etc. *CUT job suggestion avoids* Though it sounds like what you tried were short "get paid when you finish the task" things, which I would not call a "at home job". If you are looking for suggestions like that, there is a site called slicethepie that pays you per review and there is instagc, which is crazy good when you get surveys or do actions and you can cash out at any time. *I cut the jobs to avoid suggestion as *cough cough* some jobs pay to track you down and fire you if you speak illy of them.
  3. It is like I said. The Mint one changes at whim, right now it just so happens to be Mint and before that it was Manjaro. I just like to switch around the OSes, it is fun for me. Ubuntu is my main driver for Linux though I have been thinking of ditching it as 16.04.2 is an utter mess.
  4. The problem with most language learning sites or software is that they do not teach you the language. They teach you to memorize phrases without telling you how it works. However, the best that I can think of is Duolingo, Omniglot, and Busuu. The best bet to learning a language online is to study and engage natives on forums, facebook, twitter etc etc. As for the culture bit...TV in that country is the best way unless you travel to that country. Others you can try is Youtube or specific-language sites like VK for Russia etc etc.
  5. I quad boot. Two Linux distributions (Ubuntu and Mint*) and two Windows (7 and 10). *Linux is commonly replaced with various flavors. I like to mess around with 'em.
  6. It doesn't seem to be free on Steam for me. I thought it was until the 24th?
  7. Nothing angers me more than seeing someone's opinions and beliefs censored or oppressed, even if they are stupid ones, so I'm listening to this song. Gives me hope.
  8. I recently bought a small set of literature and study books, various from Wheel of Time to Introductory books on Linguistics. I got them used, but they were in great condition! All for about $40, too.
  9. It would be nice if they did a pre-order sale or something for Mass Effect: Andromeda. Still, $9 for Battlefront doesn't sound too bad (though I would not do it before I played a trial and that game is not as good as I remember during beta).
  10. I also played the beta for Wildlands. It looks really good, which is probably why I got so violently ill playing it. I played for maybe two hours the same day it was about to be removed though 'cause I was late to downloading (thanks internet).
  11. Ah man, I can't wait for the 1070 to drop a little more in price (though I may just cave). Then I get be rid of this 280 that doesn't even have Linux support anymore.
  12. It would be interesting, but it seems like it would be very difficult to maintain.
  13. Have they given you any reason to suspect they won't approve and kick you out? I want to say tell them though, but if you are dependent on them and unsure of what their stance even is on gays and fear being kicked out on your own, you shouldn't do it.

What do you guys do when someone is murdered le…

@Aleksiandrovich I want to pack up and leave, that's how freaked I am. @AluminiumTech Did that already. Out of county detectives showed up and shut off the area for nearly five hours. I meant what do you do after? How do you sleep normally knowing there's a murderer roaming around your house killing off people?
  15. What do you guys do when someone is murdered less than 100 feet from your door in cold blood? I'm freaking out and am now too afraid to even leave my house. Thanks for giving us your best, Lexington. I love the druggies and killers roaming around near me. :|

stay strong, face it , don't go overboard with your emotions, you'll get stronger

  16. The link to Oldrim thread has been fixed. It now works! I have no idea what went wrong but sorry it's been broken this entire time. @MoonSpot I use MO for SSE before I quit the game. It worked just fine then and it should still be good to use. Here is a video showing how to properly install the file.
  17. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And then TMNT II (the arcade game). They were all I mostly played in my youth until I got my hands on the N64 (OoT).
  18. That's why I'm saying it. I respect him too, but sometimes he can get things get out of hand (like saying "white people are some of the dumbest people" and think it isn't racist to say) and now it looks like it is about to, so for the sake of the thread (and people?) ignoring it is the wisest course of action.
  19. ^ I only like Nintendo games on their consoles, but having the extra option wouldn't hurt. EDIT Quotes aren't working for me. This is annoying.
  20. Well, if the intent is to spread or cause those things, then it is a job done well! Just ignore him, please. EDIT "white people are some of the dumbest people" is definitely a racism bait you should ignore and one mostly only people on the extreme left say.
  21. I would never get it but RGB ram, if done right, actually sounds pretty cool. The trick would be getting the right amount of light on it so it isn't tacky looking.
  22. Skyrim: Special Edition was irritating me beyond proper explanation. The performance took a huge hit even at all low settings and the bugs man...the countless bugs! So here are some screenshots from Oldrim instead, where I still get 35-45 fps on high-ultra + texture mods + mesh mods + RWT and an ENB. That's still pretty good in my opinion, but one of these days I'll have a computer I can mod the beejuz out of Skyrim with so I can escape my pitiful reality. <33 (I forgot that it screencaps the overlay for the first few images) I would have some The Walking Dead: New Frontier images to show you but...certain directions they took in the first two episodes really irked me so I'm too salty to post them. What beautiful art!
