  1. I'm back. I disassembled, cleaned and reassemblede his computer. He agreed to give me the system for atleast 15 days. In this time I will be powering this system and running moderate to high demand stress tests whie monitoring the system, specially PSU voltages using an multimeter. the card i will be using probably will be an 8400GS, that will be swapped to a more power hungry if I can't find any problem. Also costumer agreed that his house is not computers-friendly and will be fixing the afore mentioned problems. I will be giving more information about the tests soon. This week is being hard on me.
  2. In my neighbourhood it's good. In his not so much, but's it's fair stable power delivery
  3. That's a very important detail lol
  4. I'm back with the Graphics Card Serial killer computer. As promised I will give more information about the system. Now with pictures. Every picture has a description, I put them on IMGUR on the following link. Found Rust on motherboard bolts Rust on the RX460 bolts and mosfets Rust on GTX 1050 Ti bolts Something that looks like water damage on GTX 1050Ti Something inside the PCIe slot Dust Gresy stuff on PSU More Dust Link to the album on Imgur: https://imgur.com/a/gjtL0 Costumer said that this machine was near an kitchen and maybe have some grease dirt inside. The last dead VGA is an EVGA GTX 1050 Ti. Power supply is an Cooler Master RS600 as I said the cheapest he found. He uses an cheap power strip to power the computrer, the 40 inch, some usb chargers, BD player and set top box. Computer has no ground and he don't know about the Phase and Neutral wires on the outlet. I'm going to start testing tomorow. He only gave me the system 20 min ago (it's 21:00 here). Thanks again. And sorry about my english. I maybe made some writing mistakes
  5. Thanks. I will update here with all my findings. Maybe this can help other people in the future too.
  6. I still don't know. I will get this system tomorrow. I know that he also killed a lot of PSU Corsair GS 600 Corsair CX 430 CoolerMaster RS400 "No brand" 850W ThermalTake TR2 500W Today he has this 600W unit. Maybe Corsair GS600 or CoolerMaster G600 As I know him could be the cheapest "known brand" 600W PSU he found.
  7. Mobo has ATI Radeon HD 3000 integrated. Its an M5A78L-M LX/BR.
  8. Let's start from the begining: Costumer has a dated system, with an AMD FX-6300, Asus M5A78, 1x8GB 1600, generic case, and a 600W PSU (I don`t have the brand and model right now). The problems started with the old XFX AMD Radeon HD 7870 that stopped working them he bought another XFX card the AMD Radeon RX 460 that was a second hand card and again it died after 6 months, he used the system with no Graphics Card for a time and bought an NVIDIA 1050 (or 1050Ti) that died after 2 months. I will get his computer tomorrow to diagnose what is making the Graphics Card die. How can I diagnose his computer without killing any of my components? Important notes: Costumer uses the case with the side open. Case is on floor, I found lots of dust on HD 7870. His house has serious problems with humidity, lots of rust spots on the HD 7870 also. He said one day that he will be using one of these old stabilizers, I don`t know the right reason. He uses an big screen (40 inch) through HDMI Where I live voltage is 220V with dedicated ground, I do not know if its computer is grounded. Thanks for everyone that helps me, and sorry about my english
