  1. Ah i see ok. Im looking at these fans. Both of my RGB headers on my board are occupied. So would I use something like this to allow usage of more than 3 fans on 1 header?
  2. I can only find splitters for just LEDs. Nothing for RGB fans. I just need something to hook into the RGB header on the MB so that all fans are synchronized under one software.
  3. I only have two RGB headers on my board and both are occupied by 3 fans on each one. I would like to add 3 more RGB fans but is this even possible since both headers are taken? Is it possible to somehow use the LED strip headers to add more fans or am I at the limit at 6 fans on 2 headers?
  4. Update. Neliz has to be right here. Tried the card out today with a newer build and it worked just fine. Looks like a compatibility issue. Sourcing parts for a new build so that I can enjoy this 3080. Thanks everyone!
  5. I have not. Do you think DDU will help? Even if the drivers were already up to date you think I will still need to use DDU?
  6. Sorry. It’s a Corsair tx850. I don’t have a friend who can help me. I do have a local computer store that I can probably have them put my card on a bench that has newer components. I feel like there’s also a compatibility issue but the artifacts on the top of the screen are what bother me.
  7. Unfortunately I’m already on the latest bios. I think my next step is to check with a newer board somehow. Not sure how but I will have to. I’m just worried that I might have a fried card and I won’t know until later. The red artifacts on top of the screen is what scares me really.
  8. I’m starting the process of sourcing parts for a new rig but I decided to try my new aorus Master today on my old rig. specs: i7 3820 gigabyte ud5 gtx 670 2tb wd black I had a 670 installed that worked flawlessly. Would boot up just fine. I just installed my new 3080 and it would not get past the motherboard splash screen. I tried my other pcie 16x slot and still no luck. I even tried it in my 8x slot and still no luck. Could this card be DOA? After turning on the PC, I get the motherboard splash screen, then black screen after a minute, then back to splash screen but with some red artifacting on top of the screen. Where as on the first time the mobo splash screen showed up it didn’t have artifacts. I’ve attached a photo of the red artifacts. After I install my 670 back it boots up just fine. It arrived from Newegg today and I will call them tomorrow to see what are the options. I know that securing these cards are insanely hard. Really need some advice here, thanks everyone.
  9. Update: I have removed my cards and tried each one by itself and I still get the issue. So it's not GPU related.
  10. When I try to play a game like COD MW or CSGO, my PC will freeze and I will hear a loud screaming noise from my headset. It freezes after a couple of minutes of launching the game and being in the menus. Please see the attached video. All of my drivers are up to date. I have reapplied thermal paste to my cards and cpu. All temps are great. I did the mem test and my RAM is fine. Windows is fully updated. Where should I look next? Thanks for the help. Windows 10 Gigabyte GA-X79-UD5 Intel i7 3820 (stock clock) (water cooler) 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance RAM (1600MHz XMP profile 1) 2 x GTX 670 FTW in SLI 2 x WD Black 2TB Corsair TX 850w video0 (1).mov video0 (1).mov
  11. Hello LTT members! Long time lurker here. I have two 670 FTW's in SLI and I feel like my idle temps are a bit too high. 40-43 C is what I get at idle. And before you ask, I did dust the hell out of both of them. They are running at stock speeds, no overclock, no kboost. I was considering to take them apart and re-apply thermal compound. I was told MX-4 was a good choice. My airflow is really good. I have a HAF X. One front intake, one side intake one rear exhaust and two exhaust up top on my radiator. My CPU is water cooled. My cable management is pretty good. I live in California were the weather is not too hot so it shouldn't be high ambient temps. Also, the air coming out the rear exhaust goes directly outside through a open window. Any help would be great, thanks. This is my first GPU. The hotter one is the second one.
