SidharthAGupta got a reaction from This kid builds pc in What do you wish you knew before delving into the PC world, that may have even made you feel stupid for not knowing?
    one thing i wish i had known;
i always thought that cpu-gpu bottleneck ratio was linear meaning that for every double gpu performance u needed a cpu of also double its original performance. Then when the ps4 pro came out i saw that it was using basically the same cpu(15 percent faster) as the ps4 but it had 4 times the gpu processing power of the ps4 gpu, then i really felt that i had known it before....

U might have enabled supersampling and  set all those taxing visual effect to the max..maybe that is why you are not getting a good fps.. the gtx 1070ti is a really powerfull card.It provides 8-9 teraflops of processing power and is equivalent to a gtx1080...so in a technical perspective the 1070ti is an overkill

depends on the game, some games are verry cpu intensive and some need lots of gpu power. also what resolution are you using?

SidharthAGupta reacted to Stefan Payne in Difference between Corsair CX Green and Grey PSU?
I like the Great Wall more because of Supervisior IC that has OCP on all rails and bigger heatsinks of the secondary.

But that's just my oppionion from what I see on the pictures. How it is in real life, I don't know, don't have any of those here...
And nobody has tested either of those either (well, the Great Wall Plattform on other units was tested, just not the Bronze version of the CX)...

The IMO superior Great Wall version.
you can identify those easily with the Heatsinks. The Great Wall has the classical two heatsinks with TO220 things on the secondary.

The CWT version has SMD parts with soldered on Heatsinks and look like a cost down version of the CWT GPS wich looks like this:

(not the same, very different but also kinda similar)...

The 430, 500, and 600 watt model of the CXv3 / M models (the one with the Green logo) are DSA-III based unit from CWT. They are based on an old group regulated design. The 750w and 850w models are CWT PUQ-B which utilized DC-DC for the minor rails which will yield better voltage stability than the lower wattage counterpart. All of which are warrant for 3 years and are rated for 30C.

The new gray labeled 450, 550, 650 models are a custom design from CWT (essentially a cost down version of the RM 450-650) are DC-DC regulated, 40C rated, black cables, and a 5 year warranty. The 750 and 850 is still based on the same platform before but has a higher rated bridge rectifier along with all of the changes mentioned with the lower wattage models

depend on the budget.. if ur on a low budget or feel like not wasting extra money.. go for ryzen.(as the ryzen compatable motherboards are cheap),if u already have a intel 8 th gen compatable motherboard then intel i5 8400 would be ideal..
additional info-DO NOT BELIEVE IN AMD HATERS,And do not believe in people who say AMD CPU WILL FRY,HEAT UP etc....
ryzen has the new and optimized amd  ZEN microarchitecture enabling ryzen to operate at really low tdp's and equivalent performance at a low cost from the intel competitors..... if u r to compare both side by side u will only see a slight difference, indeed RYZEN  will crush intel ON multi threaded apps... but Intel would have a slightly more stronger performance per core...
by slight  i mean very subtle.ie-THEY ARE EQUIVALENT PROCESORS,and both will perform similarly while gaming..
for slight gaming and video editing scenarios i would recommend the AMD RYZEN...

No actually that gpu might bottleneck your cpu not much i had same cpu and r9 380 and well ny cpu only bottlenecked slightly so you shouldn't have a problem but i5 4th gen are cheap on used market get one if you have money to spend 4 cores are a nice inprovement in entire system performance

GPU bottleneck not CPU, i3-4160 can handle up to 1050TI IMO

If it is what you have already, don't worry about bottlenecks. Just adapt settings as needed to run a game how you like it.

I can't see anything on the PSU about the power, Ze Interwebs, says its 250W, not less.
but still, the connectors show that isn't that old.

that PSU isn't old, it has 6pin expansion slot connectors and sata power. it would be old if it was a 250W PSU with a 20pin mobo, no cpu, no expansion, and only molex/floppy molex
