  1. well they lost the case against AMD so it was illegal
  2. in 2000s they fucked AMD to make more $$$ now they use cheap foreign labor to again make more $$$ , fuck intel
  3. just ban them for personal use , unless it's in specific designed places
  4. to be even more fair wouldn't this be Vive's job ? like it would be amd job to support their hardware?
  5. the steam fanboys are really going all out on Oculus, when you can't find real faults you just make them up , actually Oculus is "checking for updates" , but that doesn't stop the fanboys from lying .
  6. there is a reason they don't have anything on any american citizens , it's because it would lead back to Soros eventually , he made sure that in no way this comes to bite him in the ass . On to the actual leak the only thing surprising was U.K stuff, and that Putin name wasn't there even once, also just 2 bil $ meh, i expected way more , like 10-20 times at least
  7. like the steam DRM where you can't play different games from your library on different PC ?
  8. also this amazing post on /r/hearthstone https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/4cg5gb/hearthstones_strong_female_heroes_and_that_one/ Jeff is a mess
  9. nvidia fanboys are mad cause devs are optimizing for everyone this is actually why we can't have nice things
  10. you just need to look at the top selling steam games : The Division/Fallout 4/ Gta V ; i bet a ton of people upgraded just to play gta or fallout just like when first gta v launched people went to buy consoles just play the game.
  11. except the titles in the past 2 years ? the most relevant games? those that sell systems =)) ?
  12. 60 fps 720p ? what a joke most of the tests i saw people doing are older games to show how much it has come, it gets destroyed at 1080p
  13. will this finally make the hipsters move to windows 10 and let dx 11 die? i don't know.. only time will tell
  14. because of backward compatibility . perfect example : Gears of war even though it got 40-50% performance increase (from amd new driver) it needed a dev patch to be actually fixed.
  15. ofc they can throw the manpower and money now let's look what would actually happen : * intel makes their gpu * they add basic driver and software support * they release it * games don't support it * intel pays devs to update their games to support the new hardware * let's say a year later the hardware is actually ready for consumers this is not a problem for nvidia/amd because they already have the software/driver support on both sides they just need to build faster cards, by no means Vulkan /DX12 is a magic tool the devs have to support your hardware. After all those billions of $ invested they would need to get piece of market to make up for the investment , they could also do what Amd did when they started up : get in a agreement with one of them , use their architecture and improve upon it. rather than wasting time on that idd love if Intel put those resources on what happens after the end of moore's law
  16. cause the drivers that they for their ipgu would be the same as for the non-existing gpu that would take at least 3-4 years to make , if it were this all games would run amazing
  17. anyone starting to build a gpu now would be way behind and by time they are done their product would be out of date , also they would be way behind on drivers just saying not gonna happen guys probably some better implementation of igpu
  18. Amd hinted in a interview that they are not gonna use hbm2 yet because it's way to expensive for mainstream , also dual gpus might become the norm in a few years the same way multi core cpus have become
  19. they can't monopolize shit after losing the case with Internet Explorer even if they wanted also i'll never use SteamOS as long as Valve doesn't get their shit together , public firing of a employee and then the shitshow that was Dota 2 Majors , please for the love of god act like a fucking company not like a headless chicken
  20. he might be but is arstechnica expert in the field ? i wouldn't put my money it
  21. not a person from U.S. but here my 2 cents Time Warner owns HBO and funds Hillary for 500k , John Oliver roasts Trump with some inaccurate information (and some facts). At least Colbert is honest
