Voltage set to 1.35v, multiplier set to 50. run your stress test of choice, if crash, add .01v, if its to hot, reduce by .01v. Repeat until you are happy.

JayBee805 reacted to Windows7ge in Windows 10 wipe/clean install
When you're installing from a thumb drive or a Windows CD it gives you the option to do a custom install. From here you can delete all the partitions and create new ones. This will overwrite most of the data on the disk and making it so the system doesn't see/use it once the new install completes.
As Enderman stated if you login to a cloud sync program and it was set to backup your data then it will re-download it once you get back in. Don't login to these applications.

wattage? you're fine
but I'd still recommend to swap it, nex is around prebuilt replacement level, not high end gaming machine level

Hello guys, first time posting my pc I’m pretty new to pc gaming or PCs in general so mine might not b the best build out there like some of the crazy ones you guys have , but on my build I have a i7 8700k cpu , with 16gb 3600mhz corsair ram , a EVGA 2080ti xc gpu , I’m pretty satisfied with it as i only use it to game n web surfing here n there ... if you guys could maybe send some suggestions on what else’s I can do to make it better in looks feel free to let me know thank you!:)

Higher resolution increases the load on your GPU. As you can see, your GPU usage is 44% in the 1440p screenshot, and 98% in the 4K screenshot, over 2x as much, which is exactly what we would expect since 4K is slightly more than 2x as many pixels as 1440p. The GPU must do more work to maintain the same FPS. Once you max out the GPU, the GPU cannot do more work, and therefore cannot maintain the same FPS, and your FPS will drop if you increase the load even more.
In short, your FPS does not drop from increased resolution until your GPU is maxed out.

This is the kind of thread we need more of. Real world PC issues!
I would recommend looking up some build videos on YouTube, they pretty much walked me through all this.
I am impressed you did all the hard stuff like CPU, MoBo and all the PSU/case stuff. I found mounting the cooler the hardest.

I'm glad you got it working, just make sure your case fans are installed and working (if you have them). Start downloading your drivers, head over to the manufactures website, you can find them there.
Edit: You should give a 'shout out' to all those patient people that helped (exclude me please). Than post your build in the build thread. I'm sure everyone else would enjoying seeing the progress you made.

Well what are using the PC to do? There are certainly more things you can add, but as a bare bones system you do have everything there you need to get going.
