  1. I have now fixed the issue thanks to lots of forum searching. Turns out the USB drivers had been corrupted so by interrupting booting into Windows 3 times then going into System Restore and rolling back to settings from 3 days ago. I could then boot into Windows like normal with the keyboard and mouse working.
  2. Just tried going into the BIOS and the keyboard and mouse work when there but when I boot into windows the mouse and keyboard lose power. When I unplug and replug them the keyboard lights up but doesn't work and the mouse doesn't even light up
  3. Yea I still boots but I just can't unlock it as the keyboard doesn't work
  4. Hi, So my pc has been running fine for a while now and suddenly I turned it on today and found that I couldn't log in as my keyboard got power but was not working on my pc, my mouse did not get any power so was not working either. I have tried changing ports and stuff but no luck please help!
  5. So I have been looking at upgrading my CPU to a core i9-7900x with an x299 Asus board. I have never changed my motherboard or CPU before so I was wondering do I need to install a fresh copy of Windows. I saw something online about old drivers conflicting with the new mobo.
  6. Fixed: I recently fixed this issue, to fix it I. Unplugged my fan hub from my motherboard Used a Y fan spltter from Noctua to plug into the board and plugged in my fan hub and Noctua fan Used Speedfan to control the fan speeds and setup custon fan curves SOLVED! Thank you to everyone that gave advice and helped me to solve this issue! My pc went from unbarably loud to quieter than the fish tank pump in my room - So now almost silent
  7. I have a Asus ROG Strix X99 Gaming Motherboard. And plugged it into a fan hub that was in my case already as I have used all my other headers.
  8. Tried using SpeedFan but it only showed my cpu fans running and only managed to control them. Still couldn't control my case fans. BTW one of my temp sensors is broken so thats why it shows up at 127*C
  9. So I recently changed my standard case fans to ones from Noctua for increased air flow and less noise. I plugged the 4 pin fan into my 3 pin header and they run super loud as they run at 100% all the time. Anyone have a cheap solution?
