  1. Yeah, did some more testing and it can't be anything other than the PSU. Switched it for a different one that I had lying around at it's perfectly fine. Kinda weird that the Corsair died, I've only had it for 2 or 3 months. Although it never did spin the fan, even though I was sure I crossed the 40% load required for it to do so. Maybe it overheated because the fan was not working when it was brand new.
  2. So, I was just casually playing Minecraft when my computer decided to turn itself off. No blue screen, no nothing, just cut the power. I tried turning it on, but nothing happened. I opened the case to see what was up, but everything looked fine, the motherboard light was on and everything. I then started disconnecting all the components, I took out the GPU, the RAM, even unplugged the 8 pin, but to no avail. I disconnected everything from the power supply and did the trick with the green wire to turn it on with only two fans plugged in to it. That didn't work. I checked with another PSU and the fans worked. When I turn the power on at the back of the PSU, it makes a clicking noise, although from Googling around a little bit, it seems to be its normal behaviour. TL;DR: My PSU won't work even though it lights up the mobo light. My specs: PSU: Corsair RM 650 Mobo: Sabertooth Z77 CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K (overclocked to 4.6GHz) RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengance GPU: MSI GTX 760 Don't really wanna deal with an RMA but it looks like I might have to. Any ideas would be appreciated
  3. Feels very weird to say this, but I think I'd prefer this phone over my Nexus 5. Even with Sense on top. Everything just looks so nice on it. Also, I love the design.
  4. Yup, I used TreeSize just last week to find a 183GB log file. Was using up pretty much all the space on a 220GB hard drive.
  5. Yeah, I was thinking of going with a Seagate, and I don't know if I should believe all the negative reviews or not. I mean none of the Seagates that I have in my house have failed, but I have this weird aversion to their drives. And Western Digital Blacks are just too expensive.
  6. Does anyone have any experience with the 3.5" variety of Toshiba drives? I'm looking to but the 3TB because my 1TB Hitachi is too small for my needs. Also, since Toshiba bought Hitachis hard drive business, would a Toshiba drive basically be Hitachi made? Thanks in advance
  7. I had the Q8200 myself, but Battlefield 3 in any server above 48 players lagged noticeably and Crysis 3 was completely unplayable online with any amount of players. Upgraded to a 3570K, and even though the CPU is still at 100% usage in those games, they are very playable. I would have waited for Haswell, but Crysis 3 just pushed me over the line. Very happy with my purchase, running at 4.7 GHz vs the 3 GHz on the C2Q.
  8. Asus motherboards have never failed me. Anything from them or Gigabyte will do the job very well.
  9. If you can wait, I'd wait. I was going to wait for Haswell myself, but my Core 2 Quad could not handle 48+ player Battlefield 3 or Crysis 3 online, so I got the 3570K. The performance improvement was great, and I think I'm going to be fine for the next while; I don't regret my purchase. Having said that, if you're not running into problems with too little performance all the time, you should be fine waiting for the next generation.
  10. Count me in. I'd love to see how this CPU would perform at folding.
