  1. Hi guys!I have a bit specific problem, what is the next:I'm built a gamer pc about a year ago for myself and its still works well. But now my fianceé get into the PC games. Now she use my old 8 years old pc, but she wants more. So I have decided to build myself a new PC, and she get my 1 year old with some modifications. (It is now too loud for her, she said.) So now there is "3" PC builds. 1st what i built 1 year ago, 2nd what i want to give her, and a 3rd what i want to build for myself. Which are the following (without case or storage, it dosn't matters):1st (My "old" PC):- Gigabyte GA-Z170X Gaming 3 Motherboard- Intel Core i5-6600K Quad-Core CPU- Corsair Vengeance (2x8Gb) DDR4 2133MHz RAM- be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU cooler- Keep Out FX750W PSU - GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8G GPU 2nd (What my fianceé will get):- Gigabyte GA-Z170X Gaming 3 Motherboard- Intel Core i5-6600K Quad-Core CPU- Corsair Vengeance (2x8Gb) DDR4 2133MHz RAM- be quiet! Dark Rock TF CPU cooler- be quiet! Straight Power 10 CM 700W Gold PSU -? GPU3rd (My new PC):- GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS Ultra Gaming Motherboard- Intel Core i7-8700K Hexa-Core CPU- Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3000MHz RAM- be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU cooler- be quiet! Straight Power 10 CM 700W Gold PSU - ? GPU So I have problem with the 2 GPUs. And all my problem is, because I stick to a (stupid?) idea, which is the following: Last thing what I want is 2 PC with the exactly same performance. Because of this, they will become outdated in the exactly same time, and I need to upgrade both in the same time, what would be a financial disaster. The shortest outdate time is on the GPU, thats sure. So the second part of my "plan" is to buy the same GPU in both PC, and when its get outdated, I pick one of them out, put in the other PC in SLI, and the "empty" one get a new GPU (like an 1180 ti or a 1280 ti). My first thought was to buy an other "GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8G". It would cost in my country 596$ (Yes, we have high VAT here...) But for 694$ (just 98$ more) i can get a "GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1080 WINDFORCE OC 8G" (Not just a 1070 Ti, but a 1080!) So I think, now buying an 1070 instead of a 1080 is a waste of money. So dual 1080. One of my friend want to buy my 1070 for 462$. If that happens, I need more 926 bucks to get the two 1080. That is still ok for me. Next problem is bottlenecks. Normally this would be the 6600K, but with some OC this will be just fine... Untill I don't want to run both 1080 with this CPU, but thats the long-term plan! (Or the other PC get the two 1080, and the 6600K gets the "1180 ti" or "1280 ti" the bottleneck will be the CPU anyways.) Steping back don't sove the problem, because two 1070 still to mutch for the 6600K. So what now? Forget about the SLI and get a 1080 ti for 1034$ in my PC and the 1070 run in the other PC till it can?Am I overestimate that CPU bottleneck, with the 1080 SLI? Pls help! (All other parts for the 2 PC was bought, so its too late to change in them!)
