alright, so i have no clue how or why it worked, but all i did was unplug my boot drive(nvme) and plugged it back in and everything it working. I dont understand why trying to oc my cpu caused it, but i guess im not gonna do any oc'ing for the time being

They were set to the xmp settings, i dont remember the timings, but the speed was 3200mhz. But there were no issues with just the ram set to xmp before the oc attempt

So then I can't use my running shoes to walk in?? I can't use my gaming pc to watch YouTube or to play movies? The only setting you can play Dungeons and Dragons in, is in dungeons with dragons?
See how dumb that argument is? Just because I don't like it doesn't mean no one is allowed to do something with the thing that they payed for.

Paint seems unlikely, it would require both the binder and the carrier to be highly heat conductive and I don't know of any that are particularly. Doesn’t mean the don’t exist. The pigment could be anything granular so that could easily be highly heat conductive, but I don’t see what such a surface treatment would have over paste. Thermal paste kind of is a paint where the silicon oil is both a binder and a carrier but does not dry. Thermal paste afaik gains nothing from adhesion. Lack of finish seems a lot more possible. That lower left corner still bothers me.
