Fuck, I'm a nervous wreck, just got through tsa and at the gate waiting for my plane, but fuck did it feel stressful, it went well but it still felt very stressful. Now I got 2 hours until boarding

Like @TheSLSAMG said, your flight is a short one! Enjoy it!
Been traveling to Asia for a decade now, and man am-I glad we now have direct flights from Montreal! It's still 13-14h flights, but it's better that than a total travel time of almost 22h!! (used to be YUL-ORD + 3-4h wait, then ORD-PVG or ORD-PEK).

@AluminiumTech Chicago O'Hare International Airport
I would take the cheapest overlay ... now with the direct flight I care more about my time and to me, that almost 10h difference is worth more than the $200-300 I would save.

Are you on a 777?
-
technically that is a wing fence/wing gate...
His flight is only an hour and a half, it's an A320 family plane.
All of the major carriers (Delta, American and United) and some budget carriers have Airbus planes.
(I.E Spirit Airlines, Frontier Airlines and JetBlue)
Delta got their Airbus fleet from Northwest and have been replacing older Boeing aircraft with Airbus
American has had Airbus in their fleet off and on and got some of theirs from US Airways
United, I'm not really sure what got them into airbus or if they have sorta had it for awhile.
The A350's "sharklet" is more like the boeing style of winglet that you see on like the 737
A340 and A330s have a different style winglet, the A380 shares the wing fence with older A320s.
A340/A330 winglet style

ew fucking shit jet right there

@handymanshandle Which one? I'm, not a huge fan of the A330 and A340.
That being said the 777 is loud AF.
And the A320 is cramped AF.
-
The A340.
T'was more of a joke about Airbus jets in general.

I realized we've just completely hijacked this thread.... but allow me to continue anyways.
I've once flown in an Embraer (they're Brazillian) jet and holy jesus that thing was tiny and so cramped.

Lol, I dont remember what plane it was, it was A something, but man did it feel awesome, the take off was great, and my face was on the window the whole time
