I am currently having trouble connecting a pair of Sennheiser RS 185 headphones to my desktop. I am using the optical out on my computer and I can only manage to get split second sounds coming from any video. I plugged the headphones into my TV and they worked fine on there, but when I brought them back to the desktop, they keep dropping. I reinstalled the audio driver and have messed with the settings, but I cannot get them to connect continuously. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Ultra Durable Z170X -UD3. The headphone manual says that I need to run a PCM profile, which I found on my TV, but I am not sure how to do it on my computer.
I hope I can get them to work because I have not found another pair of wireless, open back headphones on the market.
I am not a super tech savvy person and have exhausted all of my knowledge and was wondering if anyone could help me here.
Thank you
