  1. So I'm currently building a Threadripper PC and I've reached the last phase of the build and I need some help on a motherboard. I'm running the 1950x with 64gb of 3200 Corsair Vengeance rgb ram. I've purchased a EVGA 1000W power supply and am still trying to track down a good GPU been back and forth between using an RX 580 or perhaps two in SLI, or trying to find a GTX 1070-1080 ti. But my question here is all these things need one major component to work a motherboard. I'm split between the Asus Zenith extreme on the high end and the GIGABYTE AORUS gaming 7. I could live without all the big features of the zenith extreme but my big question is the 8+8 power connector of the Zenith extreme vs the 8+4 power connector of the Gaming 7. I plan to overclock Threadripper and I know the Zenith extreme 8+8 will level out overclocking to be more stable but is the 8+8 necessary? can i overclock Threadripper and keep it stable with the 8+4?
  2. anyone here know who makes the best ready to play 1080ti for liquid cooling? I've seen conversion kits but I'm worried about damaging something. But I've seen many for sale that come with the water bock already installed but I've been told different brands cool better then others?
  3. I'm still planning that out but for right now I'm looking at three 4k displays. I haven't worked out the details yet.
  4. I'm Building a Threadripper 1950x computer but I'm looking for at GPU's and am at a cross roads. I'm looking at running a dual liquid cooling loop in a Tower 900 case, but I'm trying to figure out if I want to put a lot of money on a single Liquid cooled 1080 TI or if I wanna run two liquid cooled 1060 or 1070's in SLI. Which would be the best for my buck?
