  1. So I built my PC a while ago now and haven’t had any issues up until this point. A couple months ago my PC green screened and then died on me for no apparent reason, when I tried to reboot it the initial windows start up began and then the screen would go black. I thought it might be an issue with my hard drive as I’d had it a while and so I got a new HDD and installed windows once more. But as soon as I would install any form of driver for my display device (whether that be straight from AMDs website) or from the included disk my computer black screens and refuses to boot beyond the initial loading screen. It won’t even allow me to access the trouble shooting page. I’ve tried flashing my BIOS, GPU driver tools and I’ve created several clean boots of windows only to have them black screen as soon as I install video drivers of any sort. I’ve followed every single guide I can find for similar issues and none of them work. I’m completely out of ideas on how to amend this issue. I’m sure it’s the drivers because when I finally got one crash error report it stated a Video TDR failure which makes sense because as soon as the catalyst program installs the AMD display driver the PC black screens. Any help would be greatly appreciated as in at my wits end and I’m beginning to just consider giving up on my computer as building a new rig isn’t financially viable for me. My Specs are: AMD FX6300 @ 3.7ghz Saphire Radeon R9 270x 8Gb of Crutial ballistic ddr3 RAM Gigabyte 970A-UD3P motherboard 1TB WD HDD Corsair CX850M ATX powersupply thank you in advance for any support
