Han Solo's Achievements

  1. Looking more at medium settings rather than high/ultra, but still some AAA games as well as indie games
  2. Looking for recommendations for a good laptop (windows, not mac) mainly for doing paperwork, and watching youtube, along with some light gaming?
  3. My current setup is Setup 2x Pioneer SP-FS52 Home Audio Andrew Jones Designed Floor Standing Loudspeaker 1x Pioneer Sp-c22 Andrew Jones Designed Center Channel Speaker 1x Klipsch - R-80SWi Wireless Pre-paired Subwoofer Onkyo - TX 5.2-Ch. with Dolby Atmos 4K Ultra HD HDR (Model:TX-SR393 Just wondering what a next upgrade should be. (I can't really go with Atmos upwards firing speakers due to my ceilings).
  4. Ended up going for 3 120mm, for a total of 6 120mm fans plus radiator. It looks way better. Temps about the same, it seems the radiator is at its limit. Running cinebench and heven at the same time, CPU steady at 82C, and GPU (3080ti), at 72C. Case appears to be around 55C.
  5. I suspect I have a ground loop problem in my AV setup. It varies depending on the volume of the receiver. The TV and receiver are both plugged into the same outlet. I have also tried moving the PC that its plugged into across the room and plugging that into the same outlet as well which didn't seem to help at all. It is defiantly worse when the source is my PC (but no change depending on whether or not its plugged into the same outlet). When I chose any other source on the receiver it gets better (but is still there) even if that source has nothing hooked up to it. However, when I chose Bluetooth as the source and use my phone via Bluetooth there is 0 hmm at all. This problem has been consistent through adding a center speaker and sub, as well as moving the whole setup around the room a few times. I have tried rearranging the cables as well. All of the speakers and receiver have good reviews as well. Also using these sample clips How to find and fix hum in 3 easy steps – PS Audio it appears to be a 60hz hum. Any help would really be appreciated, it's pretty loud and drives me nuts! 6. Unfortunately I don't think Icue displays CFM
  7. Yes, those numbers are at full tilt, how do you figure out CFM for different RPMS?
  8. I am trying to figure out the fan configuration for a corsair 5000d airflow case. Should I go with 3x120mm 58.10CFM max fans, or 2x140 82.9CFM? The math would suggest the 3x120mm but not by much, and I already have 3x140mm (I thought they would all fit). The fans are corsair elites. Looks are defiantly a factor, and I think the 3 may look better.

    5800x temps

I am running a 5800x with a corsair H100i pro, and on a 10-minute Cinebench multi core run, the package seems to average about 83C. (Precision boost overdrive is enabled), and it seems to sit at 4.5ghz. I just want to know if these temps seem normal to everyone, the coolant temps seem to be pretty low only around 32C for the duration of the benchmark. (If it matters, I am using NT-H2 thermal paste)
  10. That looks like 4 inputs 1 output, I need the opposite unfortunately
  11. Thanks for the advice, I am in stereo, I did try surround but it sounded worse, now I know why, I was a but confused before.
  12. I have 3 displays that I use my computer on, my main monitor, my living room TV, and my TV for racing and flight sims, however swapping between them is a pain, not sure why windows makes it so difficult. Is there any way to leave all 3 cables plugged in (1 displayport 1.4 and 2 hdmi) with an easy way to swap between the 3 of them, hardware or software?
  13. I believe you can turn up individual channels (like the center channel which has most of the dialog) correct? so this could help a little
  14. I am thinking the Polk Audio T30 100 Watt Home Theater Center Channel Speaker might be a good match?
  15. There was an included room calibration tool that I did use, if that's what you mean? I haven't tried grounding it yet, I'll look into it. I was thinking the center channel might help, will it matter if I get a different brand of center speaker?
