  1. What about 4,6ghz? Is there a big difference between 4,6ghz and 4,8ghz?
  2. Right now I'm on a stock Intel cooler with nothing overclocked. I would like to push my 2500k by overclocking it. Will the 212 EVO be enough in regards to temperature to get my 2500k to 4,8ghz?
  3. Hey all, Before I start. No, I won't wait for Polaris, even trough it's just a couple of months out. With that out of the way. I'll be ordering a R9 390 in like 3 hours. My personal pick is by getting the Sapphire R9 390 Nitro with backplate + Hitman. I can also go with the MSI R9 390 Gaming, but this one comes without Hitman. Which is the better card? I care a lot about noise, temperatures and overclocking.
  4. Thanks guys, Ill go with the H100i then
  5. Hello, I'm using a 2500k with a stock cooler for the moment. I want to overclock it to 4,8ghz if possible. So the H100i sells for 120 eu while the 212 EVO sells for 40 eu. Will the 212 be enough for what I want? I can then use the remaining money into a new GPU! Thanks
  6. Situation just changed guys. It seems I'm receiving more money for the coming months. This means I have more funds and breathing room. Can you guys help me out then? I'll change my CPU, motherboard and RAM first. Will this be good for the first part of the whole PC upgrade? Intel i5 6600k ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING Kingston HyperX Fury Black (2x 4GB) 8GB 2.666mhz €430,- I will then sell my old parts. Will this be good enough even for overclocking, or can I shave some more money of the €430,-?
  7. As ELSknutson said. It's best to start with the motherboard and processor? For me to upgrade the motherboard, processor and RAM, it will cost me around €450,-. Can I get €200,- for the my old motherboard, processor or RAM? It will drive the cost down!
  8. Greetings Linus members, I'm completely and utterly stuck and don't know what to do. For some time now I've been thinking about upgrading some parts about my PC. First I wanted to upgrade my GPU. Then I decided to wait for Polaris or Pascal. Then I switched over to the processor and motherboard. And now I'm suddenly thinking about getting a new PSU. I'm having a hard time getting my priorities straight and just need someone who can bring some sense to me. Right now I'm using the following specs: Intel i5 2500k (stock) with stock cooler Kingston HyperX 8GB ASUS P8P67 REV 3.1 XFX Pro750w XXX Edition Corsair Obsidian 650D Samsung 840 120GB SSD Samsung HD103SJ 1TB HDD MSI R9 270x HAWK 2GB (stock) For the past week I've been thinking about getting a new case. I will sell the 650D and then get myself a Define R5. Then I get the thought of getting a H100i so I can OC my CPU. It's hard to explain, but I hope people can understand my problem. Can someone bring some sense to me, and tell me what I can do? Should I get a new case with H100i? Should I ditch the XFX PSU and get a Corsair PSU where all the cables are completely black? Is it even a good idea in getting a H100i? Does my motherboard even allow good overclocking? Hope someone can bring some sense to me
  9. Is it possible to remove the DVD drive cage and place the smaller HDD cage at the top?
  10. Greetings, I have a quick question before ordering the H100i and Define R5. I want to keep the silence by mounting the H100i in the front. Will I be able to move the HDD bracked forward a bit? Just enough to put the H100i in the front, and enough room for my PSU cables? Can someone perhaps show some pictures on how it will work?
  11. How do I check if my motherboard supports onboard fan software? Is it also possible to remove the PWM hub and get one that allows me to change the speed?
  12. Greetings, I'll be ordering myself the H440 New Edition (black with side panel). I have a quick question about the case. Will the fans, that are connected to the PWM hub, run at full speed? Is it possible to slow them down, and how loud will it be when they run at full speed? Thanks
  13. Upgrading my Z323 would be a waste then? What about getting a m40x? I use my laptop a lot at school. Would be handy to use it for listening to music. That said, I already use a pair of headphones that came with my Galaxy S5. Should I just keep the money?
  14. Greetings, For the past 6 years I've been using the Logitech Z323. They've been good enough but I'd love to get some more power from the sub. Are the Z623 better then my current Z323? Would it be smart to spend €130,- on them or should I better spend the money on an Audio Technica M40X which is only €109,- (M50X is way to expensive). Most of my time I watch videos, listen some music and casually game.
  15. The H440 is 110 euros. I can also keep that money for the upcoming GPU.
  16. I'll keep it super short. I've been using a Obsidian 650D for about 2 years. It still looks good and neat. The only damage is a little scratch on the right side. I haven't cleaned out my in a while, but i'll be doing it soon. I want to order myself a H100i soon. When I do this, I'll remove everything from the case and clean it out. The idea I suddenly got in my head was: Should I get a new case? A H440? I am on a budget. The H100i and 2x Corsair SP120 Quiet and 2x High Performance will cost me 188 euros in total. I'm also saving some money for the summer, for when the new GPU's drop. Should I get the H440 or just save the money and keep using the 650D? I don't have problems with the case. It's just the idea of having something "new".
  17. What do you mean with B2 or B3? I never had issues with mine
  18. So basically want to know for how much I can sell my 2500k and P6P67 REV 3.1 in euro's. I had it overclocked for about a week and then went back to stock. I've been using both parts since 2011. Can I sell it for 200 euro's?
  19. There is nothing wrong with my 650D trough. But the idea of getting that case and going ITX looks nice.
  20. Greetings, Since 2011 I've been using a i5 2500k and the P6P67 REV 3.1 ATX motherboard. Currently I have a Obsidian 650D and want to change it up. I've been thinking about going with ITX, but I have a problem. My 2500k is still good enough, but I can't find a new or second hand 1155 ITX board anymore in the Netherlands. My problem is that I'd need to get myself a whole new motherboard and CPU, even trough my 2500k is still doing fine. Secondly is the option I have. I really want the Phanteks Evolv. They have the ITX model and ATX model, trough the ATX is much much more expensive. I'm unsure what to do. I also won't change my GPU as I'm waiting for the new cards. Can someone give his opinion and help me out on what the best course of action is?
  21. The problem I've been having for the last couple of months, is that I browse Steam and see something for 10 euros. I then buy it, play it for maybe 1 hour and basically never look back. I eventually look back and wonder why I even do this. It might be because I'm older and able to just purchase something as I have the money for it. The only games I'm looking forward to is Mass Effect: Andromeda. Sadly, my GPU is showing it's age. I would love to get myself a shinny new GPU, but then wonder if it's worth the money as I don't even play high demanding games. What I also do a lot is checking out older titles for a reason. I get this feeling that I HAVE to buy something older and play it even trough I don't really need to have it. I wonder if I'm the only person having this issue.
  22. I agree that it might be best if I just take a long break. I have so many games that I have no feeling in playing. Most of the time I even have a hard time picking what to play. I want to play all the games I own, but sometime it's so hard as I can choose between so many great titles.
