  1. Hello, Before I start I would like to mention that I'm not sure if this is the right topic to ask this under. Just let me know and I'll re-post. Currently I have a IKEA Linnmon desk with two LG 27GL850's on them which use their included stand. I would really like to use a dual monitor monitor clamp so I can free up space under it. I've read that the Linnmon is honeycomb inside and will break with time, so I'm looking at a new desk from IKEA. The IKEA Idasen looks very nice, but I'm not sure if the desk is strong enough. If the inside is also honeycomb that I fear it might break in a couple of months-years. Are there users who use the IKEA Idasen who can let me know if a dual monitor mount will work and if the inside is honeycomb.
  2. I would like to request some help on how I can tackle my audio setup on my room, as I currently am running into the problem of being unable to connect everything. At the moment I have the following devices on my room: Playstation 4 Pro Nintendo Switch PC 2x LG 27GL850 Schiit Magni 3 and Schiit Modi 3 Both LG 27GL850 monitors are connected to my PC using Displayport and HDMI. The schiit Magni 3 (AMP) and Modi 3 (DAC) are connected with a Toslink optical into the back of my PC. My Playstation 4 Pro is connected with a HDMI cable into the back of one of the LG 27GL850. When I want to play on my Playstation 4 Pro, I need to unplug my PC from my Schiit setup and connect the Playstation 4 Pro using Toslink optical into the Schiit setup as there is only 1 port. My Nintendo Switch is connected with HDMI into the back of my monitor, but have no way to get any audio. This same issue will happen when I were to buy a Playstation 5, which ditched optical. How exactly can I connect all my devices together and switch between then while getting the signal on my monitor? I think this would require an AV receiver into which I can connect all devices and then a cable to my monitor. Would this work when my monitor is 144HZ and gsync/freesync?
  3. Capture this during the summer with my iPhone XR. After I capture it I got the idea that it looked like a pan of food being flipped in the air. Like it's some kind of meat and the wood on the left is the handle. But I can also simply see things that others don't.
  4. Hello everyone, Before I start, I would like to point out that I'm posting this in general. This question would fit more inside Photography or Phones and Tablets, but I can't post a thread in both locations. Onward with the topic at hand! I've lately been looking into getting into some new hobbies and experiment. Upgrading my PC and gaming have become somewhat of a drag and a lot of my time I just repeat things and bore my time by mindlessly searching the internet. I have three subjects that I wanted to talk about. What I've been interested in as a new hobby is try out digital art and photography/videography. In regards to drawing, I have spend like a week drawing on paper a sometime ago, but stopped for unclear reason then. Right now I'm wondering if investing into the iPad Air 2020, Apple Pencil and then purchase Procreate, would be a great and fun way to get in and stay in. I'd be more interested in maybe doodling, drawing favorite animated shows, etc. On the other hand I've been thinking of photography and videography. If I wanted to get into this, I'd like to have a cam that does both. For example every year I go to the Nürburgring with friends and I'd love to record the races. While I've researched into a cam, I came up with the Lumix G80/G90 or more expensive G9. Recording in good 4K quality would be nice. In terms of photos i'd probably just experiment with everything. Lastly is regarding the purchase of an Apple Watch. I know this isn't related to a new hobby, but I've had the idea on my list for a while. The blue Series 6 looks nice. However I have some insecurities as I don't wear watches. I only think of the Apple Watch because it's a smartwatch and I do like gadgets. But what after a week I find it meh and just spend 400 euros. The Smart watch is however the cheapest option. Going with the iPad Air 2020 and apple pencil would be around the 650-700 euros. The Camera would depend on which I'd get. A Lumix G80 with kit lens goes for about 650 euros and the version with everyone I'd want on it is like 1400 euros. Hope someone can give his opinion and recommend.
  5. Thanks ill test it for a couple of days/weeks without XMP. I also found out my Motherboard had a new bios version, so I installed that.
  6. As the title of this topic said, for a while now I've been intermittently having a issue where my rig will restart without BSOD. Checking the Event Viewer it seems to be because of a Kernel error 41. Looking around online not much can be found about it except that it's a situation where the PC didn't get enough power. My rig doesn't have any overclock on the 3900x nor made changes to the BIOS except setting the XMP profile and disabling ErP (I hated how my usb, keyboard and mouse stayed on when the PC was off). The motherboard is running the latest BIOS version and I have already made sure the RAM CPU and Motherboard are fine. Should it be possible that it's being caused by me changing the ErP or setting the XMP profile for my ram? I mean if I don't set the XMP, I am not using the full 3600mhz. Specifications down below: AMD Ryzen 9 3900x Graphics card : ASUS GTX 1080Ti Strix OC Gigabyte x570 Aorus Master Kingston G Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB 3200mhz Corsair RM750x
  7. A couple of days ago I upgraded from a 6600k to a Ryzen 3900x and Aorus Master x570. The BIOS was updated to version F11 and all the latest drivers where installed in Windows 10 version 1909. For about a day everything was running flawless. I was able to game and use my PC, but the day after I started having multiple BSOD's out of nowhere consecutive. The only thing I had changed was enabling the ErP function in the BIOS, so my keyboard LEDS didn't stay on when the PC was off. I went ahead and tested each RAM stick separately using Memtest86, but no issue was discovered after testing for a couple of hours. When I put 3 of my 4 sticks in the PC, my computer froze up after about 15 min with no BSOD. However as I'm writing this I've been running using only 2 RAM sticks in dual channel mode. No BSOD or locking up of the system has occured. For information regarding the BSOD's that I received, you can check the following IMGUR link. https://imgur.com/a/HxHBp3P All images are in order of happening, from top to bottom. The RAM model I use is HX426C15FBK2/8 from Kingston. I have two kits of this set, meaning I have 4 sticks each being 4GB, totaling 16GB.
  8. Recently got myself a 3900x and strix e x570. However I have been getting a couple of issues. 1) When updating to BIOS 1407 I lost the ErP function. When downgrading the BIOS to 1405 I have the function again. Will ASUS solve this? Do more people have this issue 2) My Ducky One 2 Mecha LEDS just keep shining. I already disabled the USB power settings and also disabled ErP, yet they keep shining. My phone doesn't charge when my pc is off, but my ducky does. I performed an CMOS reset and other usb. I'm lost. 3) When I have CSM disabled, I get no splash screen or be able to get into the BIOS when I use a monitor with Display Port. If I use my monitor with HDMI it works. Why?
  9. Hey all, this morning I woke up and decided to try again. I put in the third RAM stick and the system actually booted! I put in the final RAM stick and it also booted. So basically the issue is resolved. Maybe I was tired last night as I did it late in the night, but from what I remember I did the exact same thing now as I did yesterday. Oh well, I'm very happy with my upgrade now!
  10. The list shows the HX426C15FBK2/16 as compatible. This is basically the same ram, but it's sold as a 2x 8gb kit instead of the 2x 4gb kit I have. If it was a compatibility issue, I would have the same issue with only 2 sticks in the board. Issue only happens when I add more.
  11. I just finished upgrading from my 6600k and MSI Krait Gaming 3x to a 3900x and Strix E x570. The installation hasnt gone very well. First I had the issue where no signal came through, and now I have issues with my RAM. When I put 2 ram sticks (2 times 4gb) in their respective dual channel slots, the pc will boot up fine. But the moment I put in a third or additional fourth stick, nothing happens. The motherboard light will be constant orange, which points to an DRAM issue. However the ram stick is fine. I tested all 4 sticks separate. I also updated to BIOS and never had issues on my 6600k. Am I missing something or is this ram not compatible or something? If it isn't compatible, then why does it work in dual channel. The RAM I use is: HX426C15FBK2/8 I have 4 sticks totaling 16GB.
  12. For the past couple of weeks I've been getting WHEA_Uncorrectable_Error during startup. The issue happens intermittently and I have found no way to reproduce it. I looked online and most seem to point to an unstable overclock. My 6600k did have an OC, so I reset the motherboard to it's default settings. Sadly the issue continues. Besides that I've done a memory check using Memtest, did scannow in the cmd and installed the latest drivers. No minidump is being generated as the BSOD is stuck at 0% complete. Should someone be happy enough to help me out? The issue happens intermittent like I said, maybe 1 time in a week. I gamed fine for example the day before without any issue.
  13. I've been planning on getting myself a second monitor to compliment my MG279Q, but am not sure if I want another 1440p 144hz or a 4K 60hz. The LG 27UL650 is very compelling as it's 4K 60hz, has HDR and is 400 euros when rounded off. Buying a second MG279Q would be 100 euros more, for a total of 500. I will mostly just use the second monitor to have programs open, have Twitch/YouTube open while gaming.
  14. I'm planning on buying myself the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro and a Fiio E10K Olympus 2 for use on my PC, after my headset broke. This is a great moment to get dedicated headphones for quality and maybe a separate microphone. However I would also like to use them with my Playstation 4 Pro, but I can't find any confirmation that the E10K and DT 990 will work on the PS4 Pro.
  15. Oh man I am in the same dilemma. Just posting so I can get a update. For me the AD27QD is cheaper, but I also read about ghosting/overshoot which isn't on the PG279Q
