  1. That is certainly correct. I personally doubt PUBG will ever go to mac..but the mobile port might get developed in such a way to allow that. PUBGM is a massive possible income source for them, they just don't know it yet. I think that if they, well, ported the port to Console and Switch+mac etc, everybody would be happier. Consoles can hardly handle their version of PUBG as is. They would run fine on the Mobile version. Perhaps marketing the PUBGM Emulator as PUBG Lite (?)
  2. Which is why they went to fortnite....Do you really think they will come back? Also, fortnite had a larger possible user pool than PUBG did..Even if PUBG was FTP, many of those fortniters wouldn't be able to touch PUBG anyway due to hardware constraints. Im not trying to advocate for keeping PUBG P2P so much as disagreeing with the idea of making it F2P. In a optimal world, everything would be free...but it isn't of course. Making the game FTP will force them to make money in other ways, and I feel it will come back to bite us all in the ass. It is against human nature to voluntarily slow down your cashflow....
  3. On phones you can play PUBGM, which is a great training ground for the pc version. And if you decide to use Tencent's official emulator (the android game on PC with better optimization, few on screen mobile controls, and keyboard/mouse compatibility. They keep it fair; you are only paired with Emu users, of which there are plenty ) you can play it on just about any pc and get at least 25fps. It's less well known than Fortnite, for sure, but it is actually easier to run. It's getting to be better than the pc version IMO. Less bugs, glitches, fewer hackers, etc. If you want to check it out; https://syzs.qq.com/en/
  4. That's all nice, but you have to look at it from a business perspective. Making it FTP really wouldn't be profitable for them, at least in the short term. The fortnite cat is out of the bag.
  5. Since you are on an airplane....Turboprop Flight Simulator. It's free, has a ton of missions, free mode, over a dozen camera angles, ads are optional and give you in-game currency when you choose to watch them. You can walk around outside the airplanes in FPP and drive cars in and out of the planes or around the map (which have opening doors and full interiors), jump out of the plane (autopilot can make it go back to the airport) manually airdrop the vehicles (of which there are 3) transport cargo overland with them, etc. etc.
  6. Get a rename card. Its in the shop, but you can get them for missions too. my IGN is MORKILLZ btw. What level are you?
  7. Would you say that the 2700X can be reasonably overclocked, using the h100iV2, to compete with the 8700k in terms of gaming performance?
  8. I thought a mouse and keyboard were peripherals. Also, a 1080ti would take up the entirety of the CPU, GPU, and CPU cooler budget. Thanks for the feedback, though.
  9. I have been planning a build for several months, and I have been interested in playing games for a long time, but I am now also thinking about streaming. Do you guys have any recommendations as to which CPU would be the best for these purposes? Below is some back round information My budget is $2500, including monitor and peripherals. The general aesthetic scheme is black/red. OCing is a definite possibility. I am planning to play/stream on one pc, with PUBG and GTA V being the most demanding titles. Ideally, I would like to play PUBG at medium settings @1440p while streaming it to twitch at 1080p and maintaining at least 60fps. I wouldn't really mind playing it at 1080p as well as streaming it at 1080p if that is needed to keep the framerates at or above 60fps. I am planning to use a Dell S2716DG as my sole monitor (GSYNC), though if that doesn't work out with the budget, I can switch to the smaller 23-inch version. Both are 1440p monitors, and they have refresh rates of 144HZ and 165HZ, respectively. THE CPU COOLER will probably be the H100IV2, as I am not sure the stock AMD cooler will be able to handle an OC. THE GPU will be the MSI 1080, (the black and red GAMING X version) THE RAM is almost certainly going to be the black and red 16gb 3000MHZ set from Team Dark. THE PSU is really up for debate. A fully modular one with at least an 80+ Gold rating would be highly preferred. Not so much asking for a part list as I am looking for CPU recommendations. I have put months of research into the build, and this is one of the last steps. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.
