  1. Yeah, I am thinking that is the case, I will be trying it again with another installation media.
  2. Hi, I just reinstall Window 10 yesterday, and I realised the MS store is no longer bundled with the installation. Does anyone have the same experience? I did this on 2 different machine several times, so I don't think it is any wrong with my installation. If this is true, it would be hilarious, because you can't even open a photo on Win10 out of the box. Anyway, in case it is a regionally thing, I am in the UK right now. Also, I am on a Ryzen 5 5600X and a RX6800.
  3. if you are planning on using the included cooler, keep in my that the 5600X comes with the Wraith Stealth rather to the Wraith Prism in the 3700X. So the 3700X should be a bit more quiet 'right out of the box'.
  4. Hello, I have had my Dell G5 (2018) for more than 6 months now. During that time there have been some concerns and problems that pop up, as well as my solutions for them. Does anyone have the same problems? how did you fix it? 1. Broken audio driver. Sometimes the audio just wouldn't switch between the built-in speakers and wired-headphone, it would just stay with whatever connected on launch. The problem seems to be fixed on the latest 'Realtek(R) Audio' driver. Also, you can switch to the Microsoft built-in driver if necessary. 2. The ports do not sit properly on the frame. That means any pressure on these ports will affect the motherboard itself. My headphone jack, for example, will make an audible click when I put some pressure on it. This is a hardware problem, so there is no fix unless you are willing to take the laptop apart. 3. Screen support. The lid is made of plastic, which plex as you open and close it. At first, it seems completely fine, but over time it affects the screen's defusion layer and creates areas of abnormal brightness on the screen. These areas are most visible on a white background. The LCD and backlight work fine, and I confirmed that this is due to the lid by swapping out the screen (3 times), and after a month the problem would return.
  5. In the recent automatic window driver update, there is a driver 'Realtek Semiconductor Corp.- MEDIA - 6.0.1.8397' which bricked the speaker on my laptop (Dell G5). I confirmed it by installing it on another laptop, ASUS XZ553VD, and the same thing happens. If you run into the same problem, I suggest uninstalling the driver through 'device manager': - Left click start menu => device manager - Go to 'sound, video and game controllers - Left click 'Realtek(R) Audio' => uninstall device - Tick the 'delete the driver software for this device' => uninstall - Reboot The driver should reinstall itself automatically on Reboot, if not, you can 'scan for hardware change' in 'device manager' and install the driver manually. I hope this help.

  8. Hi, Can anyone tell me how to unsub on floatplane. I don't plan to do it anytime soon, just want to know.
  9. Hi, I was looking into the subscription service on this site. And I wonder if there will be more creators joining? I have around £20 to spread around to all those I support each month, and I don't want to put it all into paytreon.
  10. Hi, can anyone tell me the different between the GTX-1050 and the GTX-1050M ? I am looking for a gaming laptop around £1000 and those are my options.
