Try a test with QOS disabled if you have it and its on.

keskparane got a reaction from RainingTacco in How can I replace my motherboard without re-installing windows 10?
These days you can normally just plug your drive into the new system and it will work. I've never had any problems in the last 8 or so years.

Yeah you would just need to enter into BIOS and make sure onboard graphics is enabled. If you don't know how then best thing to do is download the manual for your machine from dell and read it.

Many might suggest the ddu graphics uninstaller for cleaning current drivers but I would normally just reinstall the 5450, uninstall its drivers, turn off pc and remove card.

I would also update the chipset drivers for your motherboard with those supplied by dell.

Optionally from there you may try intel for the latest hd 2000 driver

Did you disable igpu in bios?

keskparane got a reaction from Edgar R. Zakarian in What is your experience with igpu passthrough?
Not sure if this counts as igpu pass-through but I think it does.
I have 2 monitors. I get better performance with both hooked into the GFX card than trying to run 1 from GFX card and 1 from igpu.

It shouldn't be a problem. As you get stronger you'll find that you can break more and more things by applying too much force. Just because you can tighten something more doesn't
    a/ mean you should
    or
    b/ prove you're strong

First off if it's 3 pin it's not PWM so you should turn off any PWM options.
Next off if it's voltage and you don't set the voltage high enough it wont start.
Start there and see how you go.

You're fine. If it gets as far as Windows having a go then BIOS is working. But like @Levent said clearing CMOS may help. You should always clear CMOS after a BIOS update anyways.

    Unplug all the cables.
    Take a photo.
Plug the cables back in and put the side back on.
Stick the photo to the side of the case.

Go liquid. My room is often 32+ as well. Water cooling is much easier.

Of note I have a Noctua NH-D15 and while that's ok just for CPU cooling once you add a hot GPU temps start to rise. Sure I could keep them down a bit more with a whole lot of fans blasting full noise all the time but I don't wan't my case to be as loud as my music.

Since I've installed water cooling I can run my 8700 & 1080ti all day, in silence, without them thermal throttling.

keskparane got a reaction from Ben17 in can't log into my wifi repeater to change the network it's connected to
Did you press the button or hold it in?
Sometimes they need to be held for about 10 seconds.
If that doesn't work try turning on the power while you're pressing the reset button.

At a quick glance I would expect you will have to connect to the "Wifi-Repeater" network after you have reset it and log in to "192.168.10.1" in a web browser.
From there use username & password "admin" to log in to configure it.

As per my signature I think usually the best thing to do is download the user manual and follow the steps.

Failing that if you are connected on the same network you can try running the "arp -a" command in a command prompt. This will list all addresses your pc has registered in the network traffic. It might indicate if the device still has the ip you expect or show another address which may be assigned.

    Create the Windows 10 installler
    Unplug all other HDDs
    Install Windows onto the SSD
    Reconnect other HDDs

Doing it this way guarantees the bootloader ends up on the correct drive.

Best way is to find how many amps header rated for (eg ask manufacturer) and calculate sum of fans.

Also consider that a lot of heat will most likely be being pumped into the case from the GPU. The CPU may be getting hot & loud because ambient case temp rises so much during gaming because of GPU load. For a free solution see if you can get more of the case air to flow out past the GPU. I usually remove some of the riser blanks top & bottom of the GPU to give the air a free path out.

Well they've got you pegged so they gonna try. You have to remember that a Suspicious sign-in attempt is just that.. an attempt. Just like me trying to log in to any random email address I could find. Attempts aren't really a big problem so long as brute force attacks are disabled.

I would expect if you changed both the user name and the email address they wouldn't have any idea and you would stop the attempt emails.
