  1. You don't have the right to order me to stop. You've assumed I was making fun of you and unfairly charged me with such. I'm not trying to make you happy or sad, this has NOTHING to do with emotions! This is about if a PC will randomly moves files without being instructed to do so.
  2. Since you're seeing power issues double check the 4 wire CPU feed to the motherboard. The TDP of the i7 is 84W compared to the TDP of the i3 at 54W. Your PSU should be fine if it is what it says and is working properly.
  3. Often laptops will come with a reinstall partition. By contacting the manufacturer or doing a web search you should be able to find out how to activate it if it is present. This will put the laptop back to first purchase state. One advantage of doing this is you know all the correct drivers are installed, although there are probably going to be some updates required. From there you may want to uninstall some bloatware.
  4. No point buying the most appropriate CPU for that card. You would just be buying a smaller CPU than what would most likely be a better buy with regards to future longevity. If you want to upgrade your CPU then buy the best you can afford at the time. If the best you can afford isn't a reasonable upgrade then keep saving.
  5. I've been using cyberpower for years. Happy with the product. It did let 1 strike through but they paid for the damage without a problem.
  6. If you install https://www.autohotkey.com/ it will install a window spy that you can use to hover over the window and find out what app it belongs to.
  7. Youtube thinks that deaf people should watch incorrect subtitles so as to confuse and mislead them.
  8. IME there is usually some indication of the rear of the sub. I would point this towards the wall as I believe it is the way it was designed to be used.
  9. Maybe you should have told us you had changed your steam folder. Funny how you didn't notice it when you were checking multiple times that the library was linked.
  10. Is your 3TB HDD listed in Steam > Settings > Storage? It is and you've tried repair library?
  11. Great news. Re the sound there are different line levels for line out and speaker out. Make sure you're using the correct one. Quiet may mean you've got your speakers plugged in to line out.
  12. Do you have more than 1 drive? Did a non system drive somehow disconnect / reconnect / change drive letter due to moving the PC? Are the games titles missing from your library? Are the games family shared on another machine and the network has changed?
  13. I'd suggest take some photos of each hardware connection and post them
  14. By the looks of it it's bad design. You could snip the hard drive cage (destroying it) to get it out though.
  15. Dropbox? Been a while since I've read up but I originally chose it because it does incremental updates (only updating the modified portion of the file). Most likely more reliable than any hardware you might run privately. Access from anywhere. Can store locally.
  16. Just search Alexa relay. To turn PC on wire it into the PC on switch. For turning off PC create a webserver and a shutdown script. Alexa can activate the script to shut down the PC properly.
  17. Yeah depends what pin it is. Good chance it'll just be a ground and you'll be ok. As above, need a pic. https://pinoutguide.com/Slots/pci_express_pinout.shtml
  18. All I can say is I've only changed the water once in this loop and it runs 50+ hours a week and has never missed a beat. Can't believe it's been 5 years.
  19. I had the same problem a while back after swapping nvme drives around. I don't actually remember the sequence that lead to it working again, but it was possibly resetting TPMS keys in bios.
  20. So is it a phantom gaming? https://www.asrock.com/mb/index.asp#Phantom Shouldn't matter app should be the same anyways https://download.asrock.com/Utility/Others/RestartToUEFI(v1.0.12).zip
