  1. They should fit and that's all they need to do. What's more they shouldn't fit in an 8 pin port on a GPU so that's covered too.
  2. I doubt you need low profile ram. You can either lift the front fan up or remove it from the front altogether. I don't have the exact measurement but it can fit ram up to about 62mm
  3. So have you unplugged all usb devices except the keyboard?

  5. Download from MS because then it has all latest updates applied. A disc will most likely be outdated.
  6. Also have you tried the methods on page 3-2 from the previous link?
  7. That switch would work. Disconnect the switch from your current cable and replace it with the new one. Then cut the red wire in the middle and put it on the other 2 terminals of that switch.
  8. pg 1-18 https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1200/PRIME_Z490-A/E17233_PRIME_Z490-A_UM_V2_WEB.pdf
  9. It appears the switch is on the 12V line and all other connections are normal. So you need to remove the 5V line (red). Swap the switched 12V line (yellow) to the 5V pins. Best done by rehousing the pins if you can. You will then need either 5V fan or add a relay that can switch the 12V off the 5V signal. I suppose you could also just put the relay on the 12V to switch the 5V Or you could purchase a DPST switch and switch both sides at the same time.
  10. The cable can do it. But can the hardware at each end? What devices are you running? For PC you can easily just assign a secondary IP.
  11. I think the a problem may come with hardware output. The cable to the monitor. I would say don't bother with the hassle. Keep it simple.
  12. You have 5v fans? Typically the red wire is 5v and then attach a black common wire for ground.
  13. How long are the rads? How thick are the rads? How much pressure can the fans push? Will you run the fans at high speed or will you run them slower to reduce noise? There are lots of factors. Personally I would fit as many rads as your case can fit so you can run the system as quiet as possible. If you can fit lots of rads then you can afford to run thinner rads which need less air pressure.
  14. Dunno. Was just hopeful it would give you an option. IIRC with XP you used to be able to press CTRL+ALT+DEL twice at the logon screen and it would show the admin account. No such luck with W10 though it sems. Sorry can't help.
  15. I can't find it atm but there's a vid here somewhere with Linus recommending a larger than recommended PSU for an RTX 30xx. Details are sketchy I know.
  16. Sounds to me like you have the iso as the first boot device of the vm. Either unlink the iso while you boot or change the boot order.
  17. RAM can be tricky to seat properly. Are you pressing it in evenly so that the clamps almost close all the way by themselves? Normally that's what will happen. Then you just press the clamps in the last bit.
