  1. There's no problem using the other fan pin header to run the fan. As long as your CPU is being cooled that's all that matters. The only issue is whether or not you can control the fan RPM in relation to the CPU temp. If your BIOS can't control the AIO_PUMP RPM then I'd suggest Argus Monitor which would should allow you to set your own fan curve to keep your CPU cool.
  2. Says it will fit a cooler of 170mm so it should fit the NHD15 which is 165mm
  3. I wouldn't worry. Pretty sure there's no way you need to run the pump at 100%. I've got a D5 and only need to run it at 40% I just tune mine by noise. Find a nice spot that's as fast as you can get it before it makes much noise. Give that a try and see how your temps go. I recommend Argus Monitor for a nice piece of software for tuning so you can ramp them up if need be if the temps rise too high occasionally.
  4. Have you checked if the onboard NIC is enabled in BIOS?
  5. Normally just clone the HDD to the SSD
  6. This makes it sound to me like it only just lasts long enough. Is that the case? I'm wondering if you're drawing too much from the UPS?
  7. Probably with a little switch on the side of the device.
  8. I can say I've done it, it worked as it should, and didn't take long. But I fully understand your hesitance considering all your data is at stake.
  9. If it's happening at startup I'd suspect possible PSU issue. Maybe get it load tested.
  10. I would say that all the cards use the same driver AFTER it has been built to support them.
  11. Well for starters you can clearly see different font sizes in the original reddit post. If people gonna say settings are the same then they need to make all the settings the same.
  12. That's not a fan curve. It's fan speed. It doesn't really tell you anything without a temperature comparison.
  13. Firstly if something doesn't make sense it should ring alarm bells. He says "Haven't used it since I bought it because I didn't have a gpu" but both those CPU have integrated graphics. Secondly if he's cutting corners on the test bench with incorrect plugs, no CPU fan, etc, then I'd say he's voided any onus on your part. If you did feel inclined to offer a refund then I wouldn't pay it until you have received the motherboard back at his postage expense.
  14. Someone may have already said this... check all the hardware is correctly mounted. For example "twinkle toes" might have partially knocked the wifi card out of it's slot.
  15. I would suggest mentioning the browser you are having the issue with, and also provide a link to one of the webpages and mention what element you think is incorrect.
  16. Nah. I just can't be bother writing long explanations. And IMO if he has to ask then it needs one.
  17. There's normally spare plugs on a PSU which you could take either 12 or 5 v from. No need to bother with the fan header.
