After a little Google, my understanding of a Scam as applied to the cheap key can be defined as
    1) You knowingly purchase a working key from an illegal source.  You are scamming Microsoft.
    2) You are scammed if you purchase a stolen working key thinking it is good.
    3) You are scammed by purchase a non-working key and can not get your money back.

Its so the modem "Might" support faster speeds in the future. But currently that feature is not used as there are not speeds over 1 Gbps on Coax currently. The Docsis 3.1 spec maxes out at 10 Gbps down 2Gbps up. The Full duplex Docsis 3.1 standard they are working on now should be able to provide symmetrical 10 Gbps speeds. Of course this is all theoretical. I doubt the cable network will ever be able to achieve those speeds.

I have the Synology RT2600 AC, it works well. Great range and speed, but for $200 USD it better have that. Its also nice that It keeps track of my monthly bandwidth usage. This way I can make sure Comcast is not trying to fuck me over on the cap and overages. While I dont use the feature, this router also allows you do limit bandwidth to select devices and make sure certain devices always have bandwidth available.

DOCSIS 3.1 can do well over gigabit speeds so it's there for if you have a 1.5Gbit or 2Gbit plan
You would need a router that could have dual WAN interfaces at least.

All the modem does is interpret incoming signals on the cable. You would need routers and other equipment to setup a DMZ

It's a pure cable modem, it has almost no functionality and will just pass through the public IP to your router behind it. You'll need a proper router to setup a DMZ, port forwarding, etc. behind the modem.

Have you run windows 10 before with hardware combination? If you have, what has changed? If you found compatibility issues, for example with hard drives supported modes in BIOS, have you tried to use a fix?

Do you have a possible short?  Have you tried running the components outside the chassis?  If it still does not work, remove one component at a time with the Mother board being last.

Frankly i don't see why upgrade any thing since that 1050 Ti isn't really being limited by the i5 6500 and even if you do upgrade it to a 1070 Ti here in 2~ months you're better off just waiting on the next generations as you'll have a better budget and better offerings to work with.

I thought the main purpose of this hunt is to see if Face Book contributed to Trump's winning the election.  Anything involving Trump has social micro personal interventionists deeply concerned and driving them to extremes.  The US Federal System is broken.

There is a disconnect between Corporations and Reality.  Corporations are for a large part concerned with capitalization and not delivering quality of services, jobs and life.  I think of Corporations as micro governments trying to win the war for capital and fame.

MikeSK got a reaction from 8uhbbhu8 in Linus inspired DIY PC Desk
For building PCs in to furniture, I would consider having the liquid cooling radiators in a separate air channel from the rest of the components. The benefits would be optimum cooling from fresh air and avoiding pre-heating air passing over the PC comments.  For the components requiring air cooling, setup pre-filtered centrifugal fan.  With the high volume and efficiency of this fan, you can design the air filters to be hidden.  Wood used as a part of a PC chassis breaks down with the constant dry air flow passing over it's surface.  I would recommend different types of protective finish.  When considering protective finishes, do not forget flammability, maintainability and toxicity.  For example, some particle boards out gases formaldehyde.

Possibly bad due to some of the following:
Violate terms and conditions for the websites with the Accounts.  There may be consequences if you are discovered using or selling the accounts. Without an official transfer of ownership by the Site with the Account, you may be inadvertently associate with the previous user's activities.  For instance, you sell a car and do not record the title transfer.  The car is involved in a traffic accident and found to be a mechanical issue.  You may be held liable. I have no idea if it is legit.

That's not a good idea. I don't think that adapter thing looks too good, and you're limiting yourself with bandwidth.
No, it only has a USB 2.0 interface and 10/100 ethernet. Useless for a NAS in my opinion.

Have you considered blowing out the dust and increasing the fans speed for the fan that is not obstructed by the drive in the front?  You may be diverting the air from the GPU with the fans on the top and back.  You GPU looks relatively clean.

MikeSK reacted to MageTank in Is Intel’s Thermal Paste ACTUALLY That Bad?
I question the reconstitution method mostly because it's completely unnecessary. We've known for years what paste Intel uses. They even have it listed on their website: https://www.intel.com.au/content/www/au/en/support/articles/000005576/processors.html
G15816-001, otherwise known as Dow Corning TC-1996. https://www.amazon.com/TC-1996-Intel-Recommended-D54816-001-G15816-001/dp/B006Q5MTPM

This is the same paste they use on their stock coolers as well as the bare die since Socket 2011-0. Prior to that, they used Shin-Etsu G751: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/design-guides/core-i7-900-ee-and-desktop-processor-series-lga1366-socket-guide.pdf (Section 6.2.3).
@LinusTech if you guys would be willing to redo this test with both TC-1996 and SE-G751, I think people would get a much better insight to the differences in the quality of the pastes themselves. You could even do another video in the future showing paste durability under repeated thermal cycling, to see how the tried and true "durable pastes" hold up against the "performance pastes".
