You could always get an Ubiquiti UAP and turn off the wireless function on your current router. I had a similar issue and bought a UAP-LR (this was before the newest line of their UAPs came out). I have it sitting in my basement with my router and through 2 floors and a few walls I am able to get around 55mbps down and 50mbps up.

Thank you very much guys. I have settled for the Ubiquiti Pro AP. But thanx. I will work on my expressive skills. :-D

You will probably want to look for an unmanaged switch. They're mostly plug and play. Plug in WAN from your modem and then you can load up the ports. If you want to get into more detailed stuff, QoS, LAG, vLANs you would have to get a managed switch. Those can be found in the secondary market for fairly cheap if you're lucky. New they can go for quite a bit, 250+ easy.

I came here to say the exact same thing. I've had a few friends running Biostar boards and they're really not up to snuff. They're usually budget minded. This means non-essential components are bumped off to save costs.

Well my friend is sitting on an I7-2600 and my other friend (Lucky bastard) found an I7 920 and an X58 sabertooth board for €100 and both report only 4 threads being used

Edit: As for 8 core-utlization I saw it in a random BF4 thread. Cannot remember the command line though

Selling the 3570K would be very stupid.

Also N=1 arguments are very weak by default. The fact you think it's ok, does not make it an objectively good decision. You have to compare it to the competition, and then make a rational decision.

Lowest model IVY i3 beats the 8350. Even the X4-980 due to it's higher IPC beats the FX cpu's. Just don't buy those things for the love of christ

I feel as though they need to move forward. With every passing day Youtube is being recognized as much more than cat videos and anime music videos. They're trying to legitimize it as a career for everyone, not just themselves. Linus is on the forefront of what a Youtube personality can achieve. Yes, he isn't the most watched channel and no he isn't raking in money like pewdiepie but he has made himself a recognized and respected member of the technology community. They need to get to a proper workplace, not a makeshift house, just like any business needs to expand.

Sandy Bridge is super easy to overclock. Most people are able to achieve 4.2-4.5GHz on air with modest voltage increases. Being an older processor, the guides for overclocking are everywhere. Your temps shouldn't go much past 80C for a 24/7 overclock.
