  1. Use Nvidia's DSR to run the game at 3x 1440p. This should give you an idea of how it'll run.
  2. Slightly different approach. It's more focused on the "thin and light" aspect than the gaming aspect. However, it does have a mx150 (basically a GT1030) so it will be able to play games reasonably well. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834316313
  3. Use a 12V power adapter. This will not have enough current provided from the USB port to run the drive properly. I'm not sure from the description if the adapter was included or not.
  4. I played the heck out of Need For Speed: Shift Unleashed 2. It's nothing like the new NFS titles. No street racing, no cops, just racing and fairly in depth tuning. I also like Dirt 3. Again, pure racing, although mostly rally racing.
  5. Some linear (or movie like) story games I enjoyed: Tomb Raider reboot (a lot of combat, plays like an action movie) Bioshock Infinite (pretty violent, but a good story none the less) The Walking Dead (very cartoonish, but obviously zombies) (pretty much independent of the show, so you don't worry about not being caught up)
  6. Make sure the refresh rate in game is set to 60 Hz instead of 50.
