As someone who used to work for AT&T the only thing here that surprises me, is the fact they actually did something about it.

I had a Puma 6 - based modem myself for a while and I found a ton of security-vulnerabilities in the firmware, making it easy to gain telnet- and SSH-access into it, probe my ISP's internal network, other customers' modems, view the certificates on it and all that. It was also horribly easy to make it crash, I found a ton of ways of doing that as well. Now, I don't know for sure that the vulnerabilities weren't just something stupid the manufacturer (Fritz!) did or if they stemmed from Intel's SDK for it, but from what I saw, I'd hazard a guess it was the SDK.

It's sometimes better to look at median speeds, if available. One person on 1Gig and 19 others on 10 Meg, shows a median of 10 Meg, but an average of 59.6 Meg.

Summary
Effectively an AT&T customer in California was sick and tired of his crappy 3 Mbps internet connection. So he decided to publicly humiliate AT&T.

My thoughts
As the article lays out many of us in the US dont have any good options for internet. If you do have a decent option is probably your only one. I just think it was funny that he publicly humiliated a large telecom to get better internet service. Hopefully someone who is a Comcast sub could lay down $10K to publicly humiliate them over their data caps. LOL.
In truth during the whole mess we have been in for this last year, I think it has shown how important decent internet is. The internet is essential for many to work, go to school and for entertainment purposes. I think its cool that this guy not only got faster internet but a call from the CEO of AT&T.

Najs! That'll undoubtedly lead to far more games adopting DLSS and, given how great a feature it is, that's only good for everyone!
...well, everyone with a modern NVIDIA GPU, anyways.

Thank you! 😊 I tried very hard haha
That's the acoustipack foam, single layer.
The interior is lined with it to reduce sound reflections, so the only opening is the back radiator and fan (the front of the H500 has no direct vents)
This means most sound is absorbed and only very little makes it out 😄

Tesla: The Apple of car manufacturers,
Why lock features behind a paywall?

Agree.
The big problem is that they think the consumers are becoming more stupid and it is kinda true. I here more and more people say "That's the way it is, just accept it", I say, NO, that is BS, simple luxury features in a car should not be locked out by software and a subscription service
P.S. If more auto companies start locking out heated seats, then I will let people know how to get that function back, because they do not need to be controlled by one of the car's computers in order to operate.

This is not gonna happen. Stop feeding the Garbage hype train websites.
It is Not possible for them to jump from 4.3 GHZ all core, to 5 ghz all core in one leap TweakTown is a dumpster fire of a website and is not a reliable source. If you wanna be a smartass and go well Actually ryzen has a 4.7ghz boost and 5 ghz is attainable, almost every single chip of ryzen doesnt go beyond 4.4/4.5 ghz under load without exotic cooling. Its gonna take 2-3 generations (this would be the 1st one) to get to that point.
I dont really give much to the "Boost clock" because 99% of the time, you wont ever see the boost clock actually work. My 3800x Has a Decent Boost clock, i have never seen it actually run at it during any task or game. What matters is All core performance, and Single core on workloads that use that.
I expect these CPUS to get around 4.6/4.7 Ghz All core, which fits the model of 200 mhz increases as Nodes get better for them and they tweak their architecture

This. 5GHz has been speculated as far back as the rumoured "2800X" https://www.tweaktown.com/news/60100/amds-new-ryzen-7-2800x-teased-12c-24t-up-5-1ghz/index.html
I just hope they've got more FCLK + lower cache/memory latencies.

The 5Ghz rumor only comes from someone speculating and it's been flying around since. The TT piece is hot garbage.
