  1. Well thats good to hear. Just going to use it then. As it DOES work.
  2. Nope. Factory i guess. I havent messed with anything besides plugging it all together and playing around in after effects.
  3. So my BRAND NEW build only used a few hours for some editing. I noticed the gpu fan (dual fan card) makes a “flutter” noise that you can faintly hear and now the left fan is not spinning like it was when i first built the pc and played around on it. The fan works because when i restart the pc it spins and in games it spins but should i be concerned at all about any of this? If anyone wants video/audio i can pm you.
  4. I am trying to save a file from my works network drives to my PC harddrive so when they wipe the files from the network I still have them to use. I had the idea of uploading the folders i need to mediafire or mega.nz and downloading them that way to the harddrive? I tried copying them but no luck as it basically just creates a shortcut.
  5. hmm. I really dont want to fight with this thing again lol. Could I run my 3 case fans (2 front, 1 rear) off system fan header and just leave my evo 212 hooked to cpu fan? And my system run fine? Reason Im asking this is because my brother has the same case and fans and hooked all his to the system fan header and used a splitter to run them.
  6. 1 fan header is taken up by my mastercooler evo 212 and the system fan header is used up by the rear fan.
  7. Just checked my fans. Front 2 (no led) has 12V === 0.25A. Rear Fan (led) has 12V === 0.25A on it as well. Im horrible with electrical numbers so I'm not sure what each draws out. Thanks for any help. Looked up a calculator and punched in the numbers, does 3 AMPs per fan sound about right to you? So I could run 4 fans off one header if said statement about modern boards putting out 12W on fan headers?
  8. Just built my 1st rig. Waiting on a 3 way fan splitter to hook all my case fans together. Would it be ok to hook the splitter to the fan header on the mobo? I cant find any info on how much power each fan draws or the output of the mobo fan header. Mobo is a gigabyte b350 ds3h x370 case fans are fans in a diypc bg-01 case. Exhaust fan has a blue led as well if it matters. Thanks.
  9. They do. Also my case has 4 stsndoffs which fits the m-atx board im using. 2 holes for standoff screws dont have standoffs behind them because the case doesnt have holes for them. Im using 4 standoffs out of the 6. Am i good to go?
  10. I have a DIYPC BG-01 case and it came with a bag of screws. There are 6 different types. The one in photo has a rounded head with flat base.
  11. But if they broke the rules wouldn't the post be taken down by now? I am only looking for answers to my question.....
  12. Well considering I found a post asking about this site years ago here, I don't see why not?
  13. I did some searches but all the threads were from a few years back and nothing recent. People say they have been using it for years but I have never used it. Trying to get After Effects CC and plugins on my new editing rig. Has anybody recently used this website for software or programs and have good experiences with it? Thanks for any help.
  14. Ive gotten to where if i game on anything other than a monitor bigger than say 24” i get a headache from having to look around the screen especially if i sit close at desk range. Only thing i can stand on big tvs is tv, sports games like nfl, and racing games. I figured the monitor would handle my card well. I will most likely get the 22” screen and a desk for under $200. Also the screen does full 1080p not downscaled 900p res like some cheapo monitors ive seen. Sounds good. Thanks.
  15. Im used to playing on a 19” tv/monitor. So 24” is bigger than im used to. Let along a 27”. Also i really hate big monitors playing shooters because its hard to see the whole screen staring at the middle. You have to move your head around the screen to see say “the minimap”. Plus I only have a 1060 6gb. 1440p isnt really suited for that card.
