Thought long and hard to figure what changes i made to my pc and after a while of uninstalling things and system config finally fixed the problem. Remembered i made some changes in msconfig, i wasnt using all my cores thats why thehigh demanding games was either lagging or not opening at all. Retard moment in doing that lol. but at least its done and guess thats how i learn more about pc's going through the sh#t my self.

ill give that a try. but would that really solve my issue? feeling like im just going to have to wipe my pc

i always close all background program's before playing.

ram is all good. went into bios to see what i could do concerning fan speed. thought maybe something with over heating but that wasnt it.

i had this problem before i used that software to do the updates. used that software hoping it would solve my issue.

Have geforce experience already as well. Actually just went in to it not to long back and it was updating just need to restart my pc now but only after something else i ahve installing is done.

Ive updated all my drivers. If its worth mentioning i used driver booster 5 to update all my drivers. I have a GTX 1050 ti

Hi guys. I built me a pc about 2 months back and runs like a dream. Been playing few games like witcher 3, gta5, watch dogs 2, far cry primal, etc with no issues. I've probably stopped playing games about 2 weeks up to 3, besides occasional dota games. Now when i decided i want to continue playing witcher 3 i have these bad fps drops. the game has lag spikes and is not playable. Tried far cry primal and that game wont even load in as well as watch dogs 2. All these games ive played with no issue but all of a sudden they either to laggy to play or wont even open. I've downloaded a few different anti malware software and that hasn't helped at all. I have MSI afterburner and adjusted my gpu fan speeds and nothing. out of ideas. Please help. Really trying to not end up wiping all my drives just to sort this issue out.

sorry took me this long to get back. I bought a new ram and luckily it turns out the it was simply a matter of my ram not being compatible with my motherboard. My pc is up and running now with my new ram and it runs like a dream. Went through a few hick ups my can proudly say my first pc build is amazing. thanks for all the help, really appreciate it.

Ive a lot about how msi is really finicky with ram compatibility. As well as the air bubbles thing if i had to just apply the heatsink with the old TIM. I might have a friend who will lend me his ddr4 ram tomorrow to test it out but the only thing is he doent not know the brand of it and since msi has crap ram compatibility there is chance it might not work as well. I am a bit impatient and wanted to get some opinions on the only option that i have to use at this current moment.

The ram i have does not show on my mother board QVL though. But have read that QVL list is just a small list of tested rams and shouldnt really be taken as a go to guide on what ram works. True or not?

The cpu led lights up with no ram at all but the dram led does not light up when there is no ram in. The dram led only lights up when i put the stick in all the slots except the 3rd one .
