SUCCESS!!! :D Required some trouble-shooting, but learning more and more throughout the process.

Windows 10 in QEMU/KVM with PCIe passthrough on Manjaro Linux host. Been wanting to try this for years now.

For a second, looked like you were passively cooling your CPU xD

@Crunchy Dragon It can be passively cooled with that cooler under light workloads, but for what I was doing, wanted to make sure it stayed cool. ;)

I've done similar stuff in the past. If I just need a system to POST, I'll slap a cooler on and plug in a fan just so it can't throw a fit about not having a CPU fan.

I've been meaning to do it as well, but between all the other things I want to do it feels like I just don't have the time to set it up.

    How's Deepcool DQ-M ?

@Den-Fi I hate to break it to you, but I don't believe this is possible with 2 identical GPUs because their hardware ID is the same. If you had a 2080 and 2080Ti, it would work. There's also additional steps to take with Nvidia GPUs because Nvidia drivers are programmed to detect if they're running in a VM and won't allow installation. So you have to basically "mask" it from detecting that. That's one reason I chose to passthrough an AMD GPU. ;) It's possible there's another work-around for doing this with 2 of the same GPUs, but I'm not aware of it. Just a head's up.
@Juular Quite nice. And very quiet.

Go for it then. I'm curious to see how it's done. :)

I've done this on Ubuntu & Proxmox. The method I have used to pass thought 1 of 2 identical GPUs isn't hard. Short script to override the driver with vfio-pci and you just go by the slot the card is in instead of the vendor ID. Ex. 04:00.00, 04:00.01.

Will post instructions later if you want them. Though manjaro is a bit different because it's not based on Debian.
