KDE Neon is quickly becoming my new favourite Linux distro. Snappy response, light on system resources, everything pretty much works as expected, it stays out of my way and of course is highly-customisable. :) Could very well end up being the distro of choice once I get the dual-Xeon machine up and running...

My favourite Linux distro is Ubuntu since we use it on our Laptops in school and it's a fantastic OS for education because it's light weight and pretty snappy, imo.

@Pascal... What version are you guys running? That's awesome that they use Linux in your school. More schools should run Linux. It's free and super-powerful. :)

@MEC-777 18.04 LTS, it always gets tested when a new version comes out first and then they push the update to the devices.

@MEC-777 So we have two language teachers at our school that both teach French and English and both have plenty of years of experience of working as Programmers and System admins, one of which even did go to university to study Computer Science with the main focus Software Engineering and also has been/is Co-founder of a couple of Start-Ups back when the Internet still was in it's "baby shoes" and he's also going to be my coach for my Final Project of my last year of High School. So my Project is going to be to "re-create" a popular Puzzle game as an App, Simon that is, and the language I'm gone be using to programm it in is called LiveCode, and the first goal would be to make it work as an "App" on the PC and then the second one, the initial idea I had was to actually put it on the PlayStore, and then if I still have time to do so maybe even release it on the AppStore but that is a little bit more complicated. So I have big plans for my last Semester, lol.
