  1. I'm currently running on a Ryzen 5 1600 and waiting to purchase the 3700x. For gaming only how much of a percentage upgrade should I expect?
  2. Yep that’s true. Even if I was to get an 8700k I do have the h115i pro so I don’t think thermals should be that bad but with the 9900k the soldered chips means lower temps and then you can make your voltage a bit higher for higher ocs.
  3. Yea that’s true, I can wait for benchmarks + if It’s good and they run out of stock I have until Christmas. Thanks for all the help really appreciate it.
  4. Oh yikes I’m probably going to wait for like Christmas time maybe and save some money up after the money I just spend on the card and just get that. I’m really scared of delidding because it’s kind of sketch for me.
  5. Yea I know I watched some videos of it, but I’m just wondering if I can get any better performance out of the 9700k for basically the same price.
  6. I have a pretty decent budget. Around $600 without tax.
  7. I currently have a Ryzen 1600 @ 3.9 GHz and waiting for my 2080 ti to arrive. The Ryzen chip already bottlenecked my 1080 ti when I had it and is going to be even worse with the new cards. All I do is gaming and that’s it. Nothing even runs in the background when I’m gaming. I’m looking into the 9900k but I’m not sure if it will be a waste of money since I do gaming @ 1440p 165 Hz. Will the 9700k/8700k be able to sustain high frames 120< at 1440p w/ the 2080 ti?
  8. yea I know that I just don't really need ryzen, I currently have ryzen and would of been much happier with lets say an 8600k because all I do is gaming. I don't even keep my chrome open in the back and the only thing that runs while gaming is my discord.
  9. Yikes that kind of sucks for just wifi and things like that. I don't really care about usb 3.1 either. I honestly might just wait until around christmas time because the 9900k will probably be out of stock when it comes out anyways.
  10. Probably going to just buy the z390, what's the difference between 70 and 90 anyways? and will there be a price difference?
  11. Will motherboard manufacturers update their boards in their factories or how will that work?
  12. If I purchase a Z370 board right now, will it be compatible with 9th gen intel when it arrives or will I have to install a bios update? Thanks in advance.
  13. Yea that's true, I'm not really sure what to do since I'm a VERY impatient person and don't like waiting that long for stuff. Longest I can wait is like around a month for this kind of stuff I'm not very sure if I can wait until April of next year.
  14. That's pretty good ngl, and that's around the same time my 2080 ti will ship (Best buy). It obviously destroys my 1600 in single threaded and also destroys it in multi threaded even though I won't even need it at all.
  15. Don't really want ryzen because I'm never doing anything with multi threaded applications. I rarely even record, All I do is just play.
