  1. Does the voltage still spike with the power limit not at +40%?
  2. KFA2 iirc is the Euro version of Galax.
  3. You'll be pushing a lot of pixels, as long as your expectations are in check then i'm sure you'll manage a smooth experience but likely not high fps. As for OCing the 1070, it probably is worth it. I've OC'ed a few 1070s and 5-10% uplift can be had. What kit of DDR4 3200 do you have?
  4. If you plan on gaming on just one monitor and the others for stream chat, Discord etc then you'll have no problems.
  5. Coil whine comes from vibrations made from current passing through a component like an inductor, sometimes we're unlucky and the vibrations resonate at a frequency that we can hear. Like @alyensaid, it's easy to rule out the AIO by reducing the speed to minimum or setting a static speed.
  6. Coil whine i'd guess. More noticeable when the GPU is loaded?
  7. Try disabling XMP and see if the issue persists.
  8. Lian Li 011 Air and Corsair 540 Air are 2 that spring to mind.
  9. Quality issues and interference are known features on front panel audio. Do whatever you need to do to use the rear ports.
  10. What LLC settings are you running when you overclock? Some motherboards have a tendency under report the voltage. Maybe grab hwinfo64 and check power deviation report under load. https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/threads/explaining-the-amd-ryzen-power-reporting-deviation-metric-in-hwinfo.6456/
  11. Idling at 70c, there must be something up with the mount.
  12. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07H9HJLG5?tag=pcp0f-21&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1 £29.99 UK Amazon
  13. I'm talking about the dozen or so i've worked with personally not what i've heard. What i mean is it's almost always a compatibility issue and not a fault in the hardware. Yeah i read that wrong...2017
  14. You're on a very old BIOS, worth updating for better compatibility. Not seen a 3000 chip yet that can't run ram at 3600MHz and it's worth buying a kit that is on the QVL.
  15. What's your friends RAM speed? As 2400mhz compared to say a 3600mhz kit is a huge chunk of performance, especially with minimum fps on GTAV.
  16. Problem 1: Yes, the screws tighten down on to the backplate and not the board, this is normal. Problem 2: As far as i'm aware there is no easy way to separate the fans and pump. problem 3: Yes, from around 1480-1525rpm on mine there is a distinct drone. I have mine set to operate between 1550rpm and max rpm. Hardwarecanucks mentioned the drone in their review i think.
  17. Boost only refers to single core boost, sometimes a couple of cores. Cinebench is an all core load which will result in an all core speed closer to the base clock, not the boost clock.
  18. Was the OS drive carried over from another PC or was it a fresh install?
  19. Need to run the Aida64 memory benchmark to check memory performance. Most decent B-die should do better than C16 at 3733. You're looking for latency in the low 60's ns range.
  20. This maybe? https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/1698294337776133856/
  21. The speed is adequate as it stands now, and capacity is fine but if he upgrades to 3000 or 5000 series Ryzen then 2666 C16 is limiting performance by a lot.
  22. Upgrade your RAM and PSU now. Wait for stock and prices to normalise before a CPU/GPU upgrade.
